long time no updates rust is now all cut out and plated with fresh steel wheels are built for the rear ,off at powdercoating atm but will be assembled then tyred so rear flares can be finalised car should hopefully be painted within the month then a few mechanical repairs ,rwc and rego,hopefully 17 x 10.5 +2 offset weds 9 hole

15 x 8 0 with what size tyre? these are 15 x 8 -11 with 205/50 under massaged guards at full low if your going to do it, do it properly remove rear springs and adjust panhard rod then make them fit at the bump stops ( which i cut down by 2-3 rings 15 x 7.5 -1 205/50/15 if you want wider then do the old cut n shut front to rears these are 15 x 8.5 -17 205/50/15 ( has had a 9 -11 under no scrubbing at same height ) this car is at ride height and articulates etc without scrubbing if your in Brisbane i could do them for you Pm me if your keen

look awesome in the flesh on the car \dish makes the wheel they were done in matt black so the dish blends with the tyre will have chrome ssr fin centres fitted shortly i have more than enough awesome polished lip wheels and a few crazier versions , and some even crazier ones in the build

the 2 azfe is a very neat fit into a *e** chassis and with the amount of aftermarket support available in the usa it is a good choice, 4age stuff is expensive these days and they are late 70s-early 80s technology. 2az is 90s technology ,bigger capacity,readily and cheaply available and as Matt said no weight penalty compared to the old 4a engine.The only real problem is the fwd only configuration ,but being Toyota there are ways to RWD it quite cheaply and easily for those willing to attempt it , also a bonus is the ability to use a w series box which is substanially stronger than a t-50 . think about it , $500-1200 for a 4age vs $50-400 for a 2azfe . there are literally thousands of these engines in wrecking yards everywhere and they will only become more plentiful as time goes on .

been busy with other peoples cars lately most would have seen the ae86 i have done red respray with 15x9 -25 mk2's here is another ke70 with my old rays mesh ready for paint 15x8 -11 front 15x8.5 -17 rear

so today i obtained another couple of sets of rims today set 1 15 x 6.5 +34 /15 x 6.5 +21 watanabe rs8 set 2 15 x 6.5 +15 SSR harts (fins) both will recieve the usual treatment and be fattened the f#*k up

only 4.5 inches of dish... matt black barrel with pearl white centres

225/45/15 on a 15 x 9 -12 ssr reverse mesh.. get something different up ya..

can't find the genuine aero discs anywhere so I'm making my own rays 15 x 8.5 -12
