  5. car height has not changed, custom flare is 35 mm longer to tuck the tyre ,without compromising travel or suspension comfort :blinks: the original guard inner and outer are still there , just a piece welded over the top :rolls:

  8. big day yesterday now reppin 15 x 9.5 /15 x 10 SSR EX-C allwith 225/45/15's under custom steel flares mounted 35mm lower on rear
  9. so your going to tub the front and rear ? if not it will not turn with that size tyre and rim unless it is going to be 4x4 height, i have 225/45/15 on 9.5's on the front and they go lock to lock now after some massaging just make a steel flare ,it will be easier and work better .
  10. back when i had it dunlop 14 x 7 +14 with 195/45/14s
  11. check ride thread dude, everything from 14 x 5.5 through to 15 x 10-6 all pretty pictures and everything
  12. so couldn't resist a little test fit of the 15 x 10 -6's
  13. my guards are still factory steel i run 15 x 9.5/15 x 10 with 225/45/15 or 15 x 8.5/9.0 with 205/50/15 it all comes down to doing the work to make them fit and getting the right wheels to start with. my suspension is still all standard settings except castor which i run maxxed. ride height is 105mm at the lowest point ,i.e legal
  14. pic is on the jackso yeah it's "lower" than ride height  these will be the new daily rims  15 x 9.5 0 offset front with 225/45/15 semi slick medium compound 15 x 10 -6 offset rear with 225/45/15 semi slick hard compound FYI... tyres cost $380+gst EACH..... :blinks: but thats the price of coolness i guess one off set of rims , super rare and expensive tyres= no one going to be copying my shit :laff: the centres are now powdercoated and wheels will be final assembled this weekend
  15. now with added 225/45/15 Kumho semi slicks and fitment
  16. 15 x 10 @ 0 SSR EX-C fins complete with centre garnish and nuts in the build
  17. so my 16 x 7 +20 SSR EX-C fins arrived today now all stripped centres are going off for powdercoating centre nuts have bad corrosion under the gold plate so they have been stripped and will be powdercoated as well i need to take my 15 x 9.5/10 barrels to my machinist to have 2 mm machined out of them so these centres fit perfectly should be on the car within 10 days hopefully 205/50/15or 205/55/15 tyres will be mounted unless i can find some 215/45/15 toyos somewhere, just need to test fit to judge the stretch then the rear guards will be cut off and new donor lips welded on , may weld them on an inch lower to give more "tuck"
  18. they may soon be seen around town on a certain white ae71 sedan....
