Ouch, never would of guessed there would of been differences. But these definitely didn't seem like they wanted to bolt straight in to the '70. Oh well... needed some practice welding anyway. :P

Can't say I know if they're ADM or JDM seats, Nick. As didn't get them off the owner of the MR2. Didn't think there would be any differences between the two? I really hope that there isn't... could of saved a whole lot of time if JDM seats fit straight in. :P

I've got some SW20 seats in my KE70. Had to make up my own brackets for the rails though. They're top seats.

Welcome Rob! 'petroleum' is the only one I know of thats from down your way. I'd say hes only been on here once or twice though, myself, I'm from the north end. Was down Hobart Sunday though, there seems to be a load of KE70s down there, hopefully the word gets out about rollaclub. Whats the plan for the KE55? Track work out Basky or Motorkhanas and the like?

Hahah, I wish man. :) I think the fact that the set I got are the old style superlites AND the less popular 10 spoke pattern made it cheaper. But if I hear word of some cheap sets of wheels I'll spread the word.

The offset... well when I work it out its around +20ish. Don't quote me on that though, as I'm always shit at working out offsets. Simmons wheels are porn. :n: Mine seem cheap because they were cheap. :fuzz: Mates rates. :)

The car is still looking great dude. That brake upgrade sounds pretty easy and cheap, might have to go in that direction with the KE70. The increased track could be a problem though.

Oh yes, I would of loved some RS-Watanabe RS8's... There's also "Contessa's" can't remember who makes them... ROH? Not sure... but anyway they're the same sort of thing. Nearly thought about machining a bit off the inside of mine to shed some weight but it would weaken them a fair bit.

Yep the Superlites are made by the Performance wheels bunch. Paint on them is crappy quality. I swear that "Type ahhh" badge helped shave 3 seconds off my laps...

Hahah yeah, thats the first thing I thought when I stepped back after putting them on. "... needs to be lower." Xany - Its good to know they wear alright then, I've heard only good things about them. Hoping to get loads of street use and a few of track days out of them. I'd still love to get an set of SSR's on it but I'll return to pouring money into other areas of the car.
