I've got a set of 4-1 extractors into a 2 1/4 inch system with a simple sports muffler from Midas, cost me stuff all and sounds decent. Would sound even better if I could get another 1000ish usuable RPM out of the 4K. Had comments that it sounds like a WRX/Rotary at times. I wouldn't say it does much, but I haven't heard it from the outside yet. No power gain though.

1.28's on my first and only time yet out. KE70 Stock apart from 13x5.5 jellybeans with some cheapo Kumho tyres... the hairpin always pulled a scream from them.

Spotted this while I was down Hobart last weekend with the other half, who else has see this thing about? It made me look twice, didn't even notice it was a KE70 ute at first glance, its pretty rough though. (not to mention the hideous colours) And its a shame I didn't get to warn you southern members as I would of liked to of seen a few of your cars! Though I did pass a bloody nice looking KE15 on the way down from Mt. Wellington.

I get around 10L/100km on highways... with the standard diff and 4 speed I'm sitting on around 4500rpm. And my weber is fairly out of tune, haven't had a chance to really tune it since I put it on. I'd love to see what difference a 5 speed would make.

I may have some old 195/50/15 Potenzas laying around, I'll have a look next week for you guys. They're pretty worn though from memory. I might try and check tomorrow before I head up to Burnie to see the other half and drop them off as I come past. If not tomorrow, next weekend.. assuming I even have some. :dance:

Didn't down jet it dude, just went with what it had. 125 primary and 150 secondry. Wasn't really sure on what the best sized jets would be but I thought I'd give it a run with these to see how it went. Anyone have any suggestions on better sizes or are these an ok size?

Just happend to nab me one of them actually! Those 2 piece gaskets are awful, there was about 0.5cm gasket to the side of the 2nd and 3rd exhaust ports! No wonder it blew :lolcry: Funny you should mentioned that, where we had the vacuum advance plugged in actually ran down to the base of the carb and sucked air from just above the manifold. So after realising that and wondering where half of the holes in the side of the carb actually went to, used a largeish hole that was already made a bit higher over the butterfly than I would of liked. It has a bit of a flat spot at the moment but other than that is good, I need a new battery though. :y: Thanks for the comments guys. :lolcry:

Can't say I've heard of these steering wheel pullers either? I've always just undone the main bolt on the boss, gave it a little jiggle and a pull. Usually gets it off. Yours must be a stubborn one! Done a quick google and found this. $43 for that one :ninja:

Weber is on! The old man and I finished bolting it up just before I got to work tonight, had to change the choke cable as it was too small and modify the bracket for the throttle cable but its all together! The Weber itself is in good condition and works great! I'll get some pictures of it tomorrow when its daylight.
