  1. No pics but a reasonable KE1? panel van in shepparton. dark green with mags.
  2. manages to minimise the flat spot in my old '35c by stuffing around with the accelerator pump linkage.
  3. one was under a cover so we had a quick peak :) the other was in plain view but as the head of the department was standing there - he used the ciggie lighter to light up a fag - I didn't feel like crawling under it. The manager opened up the bonnet and boot for us so we saw the motor and the front diff. Also the interior. don't ask me what the motor was as it wasn't a K series. will be putting up more photos once the missuses lap top is fixed.
  4. both of these cars were in the section where cameras were definitly not allowed :)
  5. 5k, cam, extractors, twin carbs - everything else is standard. Have seen 8000rpm on occasions.
  6. I think thats the pilot that landed us in Singapore
  7. If it did it was on friday. The Viper that appears at the end of the video on the big screen was definitley there.
  8. want camber...... more Toyotas the first Toyota rally car - note where it competed African Safari Celica - as it finished. Still had drink bottles in it!
  9. Toyota display
  10. Well guys, got back this morning. 24 hours or so in a plane sucks big ones when you are in cattle class :y: This trip was f@$king awsome!!!!!!! Goodwood was brilliant, the F1 factory was great (though pictures were banned). Got to look over the last Group B Rally prototype Toyota made. It was basically an MR2 with some serious mods. They had two actually in the factory. One had an east west engine while the other was north south and 50mm longer. Both had BIG turbos. One of them even had the cigie light working as the team manager demostrated. Can not thank Toyota enough for the experience and the goodies we got from them. The guide was great (and a good sort), the food and piss were great and the accomodation was first class. The only downer was the other winners - they had no interest in cars/motorsport at all which pissed me off. One of you guys could have won it instead. Before you all yell at me I'll add some photos later. PS. I kicked arse at the Go Kart challenge  just had problems bringing the trophey and champers back.
  11. back on sat week. Just looking through some of the cars of interest Paddy Hopkirk in a Cooper S Carlos Sainz (? spelling) in a GT4 Celica Audi Quattro (the 500hp group b kind :jamie: ) Mk 2 Jags Lotus Cortinas F1 cars etc etc Hell i might even get a ride in a Paris Dakar truck :mmm:
  12. If only I had one :jamie:
  13. Well toyota just came to the party with a couple of TRD jackets, shirts, caps and bags for us as well :jamie:
  14. drool!! Be nice if they could spell "brakes" though :)
  15. bit hard since we havent left yet..........:)
  16. bout a week and a half ago. A certain member picked it up straight away after it was announced on the show.
  17. Love to tell you, but I'd have to kill you later :D Actually can't remember :D Would do if I had some (hint hint :) size XL ) heading off Thursday if Rob doesn't sabotage the plane.
  18. Think you are still swinging a couple of bits that sorta turn me off :) and I reckon you would sorta be unwilling to give me you 25
  19. mmmmm. One last blast before it goes. Thats a thought. Don't think its driven that far in 10 years :) Maybe Rob can do something about the excess baggage.
  20. If you were a 6' volumptuous red head whose dad owns a brewery (or a overrated KE26/KE20/KE35etc).............. :) maybe. Last time I looked Rob, you were not quite in that category :D
  21. Well me and the missus are off to England and Germany thanks to Toyota. Yep we are the lucky bastards that won the "50 years of Toyta in Motorsport" competition on RPM. Part of the trip is 2 days at the Goodwood Festival of Speed as guests of Toyota, a tour of the Toyota F1 factory and go karting at the Michael Schumaker kart centre. I'll be thinking of all you guys while I'm over there :)
  22. TURTLE CRAP! Slow down before the corner and the understeer magically disappears. Once at the apex, gradually feed in the power. Guess what you will be quicker too.
  23. maglight = shit load lighter than an axel ;)
  24. Your not running out of suspension travel are you!!!!! If somethings bottoming out maybe I can see an issue. I concur with slapper: My 35 had lowered springs, Monero GT gas strut inserts, twin antiroll bars and no way would it lift an inside wheel at the front. As I said it would unload the inside rear in tight corners (looked impressive smoking the rear out of the hairpins up Authors Seat ;) ). Tic pic before was taken at about 60km/h maybe. It is about to break into oversteer.
