  1. probably the white ke26 in his dp.
  2. there was a ta22 down at centre road last time i was there a week ago.
  3. that passenger mirror is also desirable afaik.
  4. update, even just called me to say thet this kebab place closed at 5:30. everyone to still meet at oakleigh but then we'll cruise up to mitcham kebabs together.
  5. the fb group says 14 people but i know there are a few people here that aren't part of it so maybe 18ish.
  6. this is crazy! i love it. are there many seriously modified or engine converted cars like this in pakistan? what do the cops think?
  7. first time he got caught. :fuzz:
  8. i'd say these laws are in place to allow police officers to get dangerous drivers off the roads and it's up to the issuing officer to provide a judgement. however if this judgment is wrong then there is no form of appeal. in a system like this there will always be people having to deal with the consequences of a crime they didn't commit. still, all things in consideration. if you're going for small gaps in front of two cars when the road is wet then you probably aren't the safest driver on the road.
  9. first proper update in a while. as we saw, i have lowered the car a bit. i feel it could go a little lower in the front to level it off but am hesitant to do this as how it sits now because there is no scrubbing even on full lock. being a daily, function does have to take priority over form. found another pair of 14x6.5 starsharks in red to match my fronts. fitted them with 175/65. nothing too 'hellaflush' but does the job and looks the part. feels good to have a matching set of rims. been getting positive feedback on it and got through a booze bus with no worries. still in desperate need of a proper stereo. AM just isn't cutting it anymore. have purchased some gauges to help me monitor what's going on under the bonnet more accurately. just waiting on my local autobarn to give me the bracket i ordered so i've get some way of holding them in place. will have oil press, water temp and engine vacuum. friend purchased a new camera and wanted some practice with night shots and experimenting with lighting. i was more than happy to offer my car as a test subject. here are the results. lastly, being a stock 4K with a hard 280000kms on the clock and at it's current verticality the new tailgate sticker is certainly apt. metal flake orange FTW.
  10. haven't posted in here for a while but i'm still talking your progress. good to see most (if not all) parts have primer on them. no more rust. :y: keep up the good work.
  11. what a fine morning of effortless motoring. good to see a few faces i haven't seen in a while. did we end up with a total car count? not as many as the last meet but still heaps of cars.
  12. malvern road near williams. have seen her car a few times near chapel st.
  13. saw a kermit green ke10 today. i think it belongs to user KE10GIRL.
  14. i'll be there. not going to enjoy those speed bumps though. AS A WARNING. this park contains the same spiky speed bumps as the last park and one of the exits they are unavoidable. if you think you will struggle then go out the same way as you go in.
  15. what is it? fun day, drifting or open practice?
  16. re: the idle. hot day, bit of choke and got it to misfire. my exhaust is just stock manifold, stock resonator and a 2in pipe out the side. still get a fairly raspy sound but none of the resonance frequency problems that ke70dave had with his car. then again, my car is loud all the time. i'll have to get some fly past videos on the move stuff so you can hear it under load.
  17. well, rollaclub came up with the goods at 5 attendees. not bad considering less than 5 hours notice. hahaha. forgot to get any photos, too busy stuffing my face with kebab and talking shit.
  18. i know it's last minute but is anyone keen to meet at mitcham kebabs map link tonight at 9:30? there will be a vic imports club meet that myself and TE278U will be attending. would be good to see if we could get some corollas out there to show these nissan kids how it's done. my contact number is 0438 146 942 if anyone needs help finding the place. note: i have had minimal contact with these club members so i'm not sure exactly what to expect but if it is anything like what i saw on tuesday at garage cafe then there should be some quality cars in attendance
  19. this isn't the car that he helps on. saw that car and two other over the weekend at winton. two running K engines (1100 to keep in the class) and one running a 3K on twin 48mm webers. talked to one these guys about redlines and he said between 8500 and 9000 rpm. wow.
  20. wooh! can't wait to see this one in action. haha. sounds like a belter. and yeah, i'd say you raped it good.
  21. i'm a big bosozoku fan and i like where this thread is going. you say you like tasteful mods but the whole point of boso is to be a gaudy, attention grabbing and being a general nuisance to the public. my advice is more crazy exhausts... an oil cooler and some more dish and flares. candy paint doesn't hurt either. let me know if you want some more inspiration. i've got a tone of photos i can share.
  22. if you have an interest in cars and want to come have a chat then you are more then welcome to come. having a toyota is just a plus. and yes, it is 8:30AM.
  23. i'm out. will be with angelo fixing the brake leaks on my car and wiring up the MSD for his car.
  24. spotted me with rego. weeeeeeeeeee
  25. i was down there for an ae86dc thing recently and the speed bumps are severe. can't remember exactly how high but they where but i'd say you'd have trouble. i even had to slow down in my monster truck of a ke20 they are that bad.
