spotted a white ke20 heading outbound on dandy just before koornang road. was in my 20 going inbound. i think you saw my friend pointing and yelling. hahaha

haha. you sneaky bastard pete. i didn't realise how bad the tax is getting. black limited on carsales. nearly 30K for a near stock 80s 1.6 corolla. if i hadn't seen it i wouldn't have believed it. i nearly choked on my breakfast. maybe it's time to repaint your car from red to black?

looking good. more matt quality attention to details. is that front bar fiberglass or just white? this thing is going to be a weapon once you have it ready.

p plater reporting in. i've spun 4 times and each one of those times did not hit a thing. every time i've pushed the limits it's been on a quiet road with no one around. i don't consider myself a great driver but i do consider myself more observant than most of the p platers around my area. i think that having an older car with quite sub-par standard brakes makes you a lot more weary of erratic drivers and situations unfolding far ahead down the road.

this made mine last two months. then again it had done 140000kms since it's last hg. as trev said, it's a factory problem that can easily be fixed and from what i know only happened on the 7MGE's not the 7MGTE's. very under rated engines the 7M's. the guy who built KE355 (the green wagon with the whopping great supercharged v8 in it) had a cressida with a 450hp at the wheels 7mgte. he said it would step sideways at 130 when the boost cut in in 3rd. won't need this much power in your 55 but the ability is there.

i'm going to be a maybe now. financials are getting a bit tight.

did someone say hellaflush? need more camber to go with your 'drift king' stickers. hahahahaha plus, if you ever need to take any of your corollas for a drive but don't have the time i'll happily volunteer.

good progress. i noticed there aren't any plates on it. do you still the the original ones from the 80s? this on those green lettered plates would be awesome. failing that you could get custom ones like [DRFT86] :P you'd be the coolest kid on ae86dc.

don't get a sidepipe off the factory manifold. mine sounds like arse but is really loud to compensate. if you get extractors and at least one resonator/hotdog/turbo muffler or whatever you call them it's hard to go wrong. brent's car has two and i think that it sounds good.

spewing i forgot about this. would have been nice to take the 20 for a run.

it's not for the police, it's for my ears. a couple of hours at anything over 90 with a 4speed and a side pipe is enough make your ears bleed.

borg warner have a plate that bolts on from the back. the japanese difs have a centre that unloads from the front.

people ride my bumper.... slow to 40. they get closer.... back into second for a huge keybanger. lots of flame at night and a big puff of black. they usually stop harassing me after that.

damn, you work fast troy. 14 hours from late night idea to almost finished item. they look awesome. i've never seen this done to a ke20 before and i love it. it's like it was meant to be.

even if they are having alignment problems surely there are enough ae86 specific adjustable suspension components to get everything straight again. welcome to the club btw.
