the basic gist i got was that someone had seen the car on the back of a trailer going down the freeway and now they are trying to get a copy of the traffic management CCTV to get the plates of the car/trailer that was towing it to hand to the police to follow up.
from what i've seen on cars and in the brochures it was fitted to the SL models. as troy said, you can now get this in rolls, cut it to the length you need and stick it to the car.
mate, those rims are beautiful. good choice on the colour. finally someone not using just black or white.
you wouldn't happen to have any spare 'C' grill emblems? :P looks so much cooler than my plain 'TOYOTA' one.
had an awesome weekend with the whole rollaclub bunch. spent the whole time having so much fun i basically forgot to take photos.
good to put names to faces and this is already booked in the calendar for next year.
ps: i found $1.38 in my van on the way home with my a/c on boo.
this looks so good. thats a great finish off the gun. can't wait to see it after a good polish. have to get the panno's out together so i can drool over your superior paint/engine/everything else.
nah it's just a slanty sedan being f@$ked. i know people do worse things. (even i have bought a ke70 with the express purpose of destroying it) but it;s the fact that he's doing it to spite me. he was looking around for ages specifically trying to find a corolla cheap enough to wreck.
i'll try and get him to upload the video to youtube so you guys can see.
i've been having a long term argument with a friend that corollas are more to some people then just anonymous white goods that get people who don't know anything about cars from a to b. up until this point it's just been harmless banter. now he's gone and done this: video link
he went and purchased a straight ke70 and has preceded to f@$k it. he's taking it 4wding next week and plans to roll it and scrap it. i know it's just a ke70 and i know it's his money and he has every right to do it but am i allowed to punch him in the face for doing this?
alternatively he does love his jeep and is a complete knob about the whole thing. does anyone have a spare jeep i could set on fire out the front of his ouse or something?
wow. for a second i thought this was a different car. gloss paint on this would improve the looks 100000%.
also evans 55 looks like a holden with those caps and no walls. hubcaps are a good thing. making me want to put my set back on the 20.
i got caught in these floods yesterday coming home from a family trip to adelaide. all the main highways where closed so we ended up having to take back roads and fording a few knee deep patches of water. turned an 8 hour drive into a 12 hour marathon. we did about 960kms.
hey guys. i'm over in the state for a family holiday and i saw a green ke30 two door on p's running around aldinga beach last night and a white corona wagon dumped on jellybeans with a front lip/sub/dished steering wheel in the back streets of burnside this afternoon. anyone form here?
i'm tending to agree with angelo. two thin white's fit with the whole car and look like they are meant to be there. you could for the white/red combo if you wanted to make the wheels a focal point though.
i'd also get some ke1x/early ke20 hub caps. sort of a dog dish style that would work well with the rest of the car.
as said. all coupes are pretty much stripped.
was back there at lunch time today raiding the tyres. did take a quick look down in the toyota section to see a silver ae71 auto resting on it's guts with no wheels. should have posted a little earlier pete, i would have had a look.
