Hey, don't let it get you down!!
I'm not good at many things... found heaps of things I was bad at before I stumbled into sales ;)
Just keep trying... I'm hopless at working on my car but after breaking everything several times I now at least know what everything is :P
Now I'm beginning to think you need therapy
...move on from the wheel well ;)
Are you staying on the wheel well to avoid working on the roof?? :hmm:
Edit: Just reading that back to myself and thought "maybe the humorous tone I mean this in isn't conveyed". Still loving your work, and I could see what you were fixing in the pics with the light in the well. Does look a lot smoother in the last pic :y:
Lol, if you go really pre Ksev... you can paint the Toyoglide and grill badges of the KE10/20's, cast with paint & plastic with paint behind.
I really think the square gold one suits the square car more ;)
The test drive was the selling point... the 200kw, sports suspension and semi-auto make for a fun drive :D
The missus and I both wanted a newer car that we don't have to fix... no way I could fix much on this car even if it did brake :P
I know we have all the gear at my work in Belmont and one of the welders is a Toyota man (Mark II Tourer)... Pretty sure they do this kind of welding all the time.
If you want me to enquire about a beer or cash job let me know.
I'm sure we do have welding shops like that over here, I'll ask the welders at work where they get their gear... I'll ask them your question as well. It would help to know pipe thickness.
