hey just did a compressioin test on my 4k and got 160psi on all cylinders was just wondering what the compression is meant to be? my 4k is meant to have higher compression so seems abit low to me cheers andrew

ok cool cool should have abit of go when its in the ke

how can you over boost a sc? its even got a abv to stop it going past 8psi more like cooler pipe wasnt tighten up

4age is way easier then 7k so 5k or 4age it

if your car isnt na you will go out of vac to boost so i would say test for na

um brand is protex, pretty sure it was a datsun one. got it from my local parts store for $120 trade took the 20 brakes out today and replace them with the ke55 brakes, and thats all i could be stuffed doing on the 20 today got to fix shit on my 70. my diff is leaking so looks like i will be pulling the centre out again and regasketing it. need to get it driving then will get exhaust fixed, panel beater is coming around to look at it some time this week and give me a quote for paint. hopefull get to a paint shop tomorrow and start picking out some colours. with abit of luck my ke70 is gone in the next 2 weeks so i can start stripping the 20 for paint, going to get all suspension and drivetrain parts powder coated black want to get all new bushes for it, anyone know if they are same as ke30 ones? at my local store there books only go back to ke30s peace out

not much process got the diff back in got my brake master cylinder and installed that, still need to bleed the brakes hopefuly will get it driving on sunday then can go to get some quotes for painting on monday and get the exhaust fixed

well i ended up going down to my local parts store and going though the books ended up with a datsun mc, it was for a booster so i added my stock pushrod to it and it was all good here is some pics bolts in all good can get the parts numbers if anyone is keen

hmm 3months to do a ground up rebuild on my ke20 hope i can make it

ok part numbers would be a great help, i had a spare master cylinder with car its a twin system one but it is leaking though the pushrod would it be better off getting that rebuilt or buying a new one? cheers

but i didnt have the centre in so there should of been nothing stopping it.

cheers for the heads up i pulled the axle from the boar warner and it fits in my ke20 diff, but the bearing seem to be wided then the ke20 and it stick out the diff a couple of mm, going to put the brakes on and she if it will make it flush

ok today mungi mods came down and fix my rust, he said wasnt too bad but it looked pretty fukd to me here is the pics of the rust will get some after shots tomorrow

ok think i brought the wrong diff my ke20 has the jap diff and i brought a ke30 bw diff are the axles the same? will pull it apart tomorrow and check it out see if they fit if its the wrong diff how the hell do you find jap axles? here are the pics of the ke20 diff and the ke30, mounts line the same its not that much longer so i might just chuck the ke30 diff in. would the ke30 be any stronger then the ke20 diff? cheers

i took mine back to the shop and got them to put it in, they are a bandjo*spelling fitting for the master

should of put the clutch master in while the engine was out other then that looks the good
