An acquaintance of mine who likes to think he knows his stuff decided to "top up" the oil on his (brand new) Forrester on the way to some kind of work, grabbed the nearest 5l generic bottle of motor oil and proceeded to dump the entire bottle in...... He was deadset convinced the reason he was stranded on the side of the road with his car pouring smoke was an ECU error, until the RAC guy popped the bonnet and openly lol'd in his face :laff: I never have, nor will I ever let him live it down.

According to the Bilstein downloadable .pdf catalogue there is an AE86 Specific model of the B8 Sprint insert. Part numbers and all the codes they give mean nothing to me, so here's a link to the website the catalogues are on the right hand sidebar. Might help, I dunno.....

Ok, so actually got around to having a look at a calendar and the 28th of Oct is a Friday, maybe it's just me but seems a little odd to start a holiday/roadtrip on a Friday. Plus I had to make a fast choice so I could get the time off work, end result, I'll be leaving Melbourne on Monday the 24th. Those that have the available time off and wish to run in a convoy are more than welcome to join me (We shall arrange a common leaving point later), if not, I'll see you guys up there. Awesome news: I have a new job in which I'm working 12 hour shifts, as such I'll only process sticker orders on my days off, apologies to all for any delays, but there just aren't enough hours in the day for filtering PM's at 10pm, I hope you'll all understand.
