  1. Hey guys I'm going to be building a custom exhaust soon and will be looking for a muffler that will keep me legal but barely, 94 db is the limit i think. So what mufflers have you guys got, likes/dislikes etc. Looking for something that flows nicely, non restrictive.

    Spotted

spotted blue ke30 abit smokey on the corner of states and bains
  3. even closer to my place hehe :jamie:
  4. I like the look of that rear end. My car is parked outside the window at head turning to the right and i keep comparing it to the computer screen looking at those lights, even the quarter panels are are total different construction. The strut hat holes look smaller like on ke30 and not ovaled like a ke70 ??
  5. Fair enough i guess using the search feature is something to get used to i hardly use it myself. But if you read through the areas, like just reading the topics you will find a thread to read. Or 30-40 unused pavers from mum and dads renovation pile will lower a ke70 easily as the weak coils springs love to compress easily. Or spend money on a set of 2nd hand lowered king springs so far my set was fronts for free and rears 70 dollars. If you want something decent then ull need to spend more money.
  6. cool is this the most SA involvment before ?
  7. Yeah i gotta admit just coz its local for the organiser doesnt mean its the most central location for the cars/people that the event is aimed to attract. The guys that came with me and a few that turned out that i know personally had a few comment s i wont repeat. But yes i have organised a cruise that is about 5 minutes from my house but i could have moved the start point further north or further south considering it is a southern cruise and the meet point is starting to be used by some classic car clubs and street machine guys. Lets not forget it was a good turn out just need to be more flexable, semaphore would only be like 30-40 minutes from morphettvale for comparisin and say 20-30 from salisbury. I think i made a comment a while back in post here about cruises about trying to make things more central for everyone but i think those who didnt want to travel more than 10 minutes from their house complained magil was too far to start a cruise from. Then 2-3 days later a cruise gets organised from the very suburb i suggested lol. Oh and measure it on a map its almost dead central from morphettvale/salisbury coming away from the glenelg.
  8. http://www.nolathane.com.au search on here for all the bits you need i used this list to get all my bit through motortraders as they didnt know what the heck i was talking about. and the part no. is 48064 sedan and 48135 panel van and wagon
  9. Vess and Myself will be there. And ill also have those bank details. cheers matt.
  10. OMG!!!!!!!! guess what happened to me today i dislocated my toe in the shower after work and it magically poped itself back in again. seriously this happened.
  11. cheers everyone, the name is really starting to stick. Yeah she looks sad in that pic but i don't think she was. In a 16 hour period she was driven from NSW, played with 2 kids aged 5 and 6 for atleast 8 of those hours and driven another 50km to our house, i think she was dog tired ... haha i made a joke. I may post up a few more pics tomorrow she is the best thing ever. Btw dog bombs not cool lol.
  12. We will be leaving roughly by 2 or 230 it will take an hour to get to the 1st parking point in victor and maybe another hour driving to the bluff and parking and getting out a talking. I'm not sure if anyone could be bothered to sit down for a snitty i wouldnt mind and then that would take easily over and hour. So by the time people or myself are ready to leave it will be 530 ish so plenty of light and i guess plenty of time for those traveling from long distances to make a different trip home. Sounds good depends on what everyone wants to do, pretty much the aim of this cruise was to start small and work up from there so that the ones who want to cruise but don't want to be left behind or tackle twisties would have a good time. It is bendy through the section ive chosen but i don't beleive its anything a L plater can't handle. There could be several split groups for the trip home ? ill be doing the reverse. "i prefer to go through ashbourne/meadows/hahndorf......much nicer roads, less traffic and alot quicker if you have idea how to drive a car through the twisties. Sorry i wont be attending, i have just bought my stereosonics ticket" I love the twisties alot :) and i also like that route. but its just a cruise for those who like cruising maybe organise an twisties through the hills another time after this one up to woodside ?
  13. i was thinking by the time everyone starts doing their own thing in victor eg pub, whale watching :) its a little hard to gather everyone up for a cruise back. But i was just going to do the reverse when i decide to leave so that will be easy to follow. Or everyone can follow the clearly sign posted route back to adelaide on the main roads. I guess so far I'm just starting simple. If you have any ideas let me know dude.
  14. Thats cool dude i guess some drivers choose not to come to 10-15 or more larger events i can relate and respect that. I used to drive a defectable car and stayed away from such cruises but it also meant i was missing out on the social aspect. P platers are a large part of most car forum communitys, its a thing that just cannot be ignored we were all P platers once. But usually the maturity of a driver either P plater or fully licensed it what attracts the law. I guess if your not breaking the law its not an issue. Ive been to alot of cruises over the last 12 years the only police presence was mostly due to organisers telling police about the event as Mystik said. Burnouts and reckless attitutude to driving, such as burnouts at meet points and other annoying behaviour to the resisdents of the area is what attracts the police. On that note i wont be informing the police of any activites, if they stumble upon a cruise posted in a forum like all the other thousands in australia then let them waste their time driving through the carpark and report back that there is nothing going on.
  15. Not too bad for a 120km round trip, 3 of us total at the meet point for south. Nice turn out good to put some names to faces/rides. some T4S guys turnined up i think? nice sound systems. Managed to get some pics was good, great to see everyone trying to be apart of the rollaclub away from the keyboard community.
  16. haha I'm pretty bad at pool, was beaten several times last night at the bucks show i went to. btw yiros FTW.
  17. Haha yeah i get a little carried away. Wans't much trouble i think it took me 10 minutes to write that off the top of my head. Most of the other replies were very similar. Last time i tried to help someone i only started with checking the exterior systems of a clutch problem they had before going anyfurther and got flamed. But its best to know what your facing before just replacing one item. Had a guy replace a clutch on his seca once to find the slave, master and 3rd gear were gone too and decided after buying a clutch kit, he had wasted his time becuase he ran out of money to try and get a cheap bomb going. So i pays to check everything 1st before making a financial decision. He ended up having the car towed to the wreckers. I found the LHR wheel bearing was gone in my TRX bluebird and so i just replaced that item.
  18. A little off topic dude but that cat in your avatar is HUGE!
  19. Hey those rims look sweet, but not a fan of the gangsta bling thats already on the car :lolcry:. Those 5 spoke wheels look similar to what i had on the supra. I was thinking of putting buddy club wheels on it at one stage, check em out.
  20. ahh memories as you get older and as your gf's get older this seems to happen less :D
  21. Thats the spirt!!! A little off topic, but after speaking to a few people I'm starting to get the feeling there is a rift between members. Ive hardly spoken to anyone in person from rolla club maybe we need to organise a pool hall night so everyone can get the chance to let their guards down. We can all sound like funny buggers (especially me) at times over the net due to text being so impersonal. don't get me wrong just putting it out there :lolcry:
  22. yeah I'm still going i was under the impression i had about 5 people willing to meet at the southern point to come with me. If it does turn out to be only 5 people i will disapointed in the corolla comunity for complaining about nothing to do in sa ie cruises shows meets ect. Gotta support an event guys.

Spotted red ke25 at bp cnr henley beach rd and south rd taking cylinder head off my hands. cheers. Spotted clean looking white KE20 at westlakes shopping centre, also spotted a cream ke70 with 5 spoke mags rather attractive young blonde girl driving it in the same location.
  24. No worries guys, well if anyone else reads this recent post and forgets to read the 1st post, the you should read the 1st post :lolcry: Ill be at the southern meet point as discussed, read the first post for all details. should be a nice run
