I can totally see where your coming from teddy, my aprrenticeship was hell, i even chucked the towel in for a couple of years after i got qualified. Went back reluctantly and found it was ok for a few years then the stupid ship all over again.
I decided to try management and it worked out really well but after 2 1/2 years working for an american company. My team and the rest of Australia was made redundant for maintenance, so i found myself dealership hopping once again and found myself at a no nonsense family owned large toyota/truck/farming company and things have been fantastic.
Hang in there get your papers and then start shopping around if the boss wont make real changes in the work place, its up to you.
Oh and i personally think if one man touches another mans car with the intent to disrespect it then i think your perfectly within your right to slowly dismember them, salting their wounds whilst trying to keep them alive as long as possible.
