picked up 2nd hand carby a while back and forgot about it, its dirty as hell and when i dropped it in the car runs perfect after i adjusted the mixture and fast idle crazy eh :P, had a carby on a 97 hiace sent out for rebuild at work cost 185 dollars.

i have a ra60 strut/disc/caliper set so all i need is an xt130 strut ? with my original AE71 hats to fit to the AE71 ?

Agreed. By the time its fueled and wired and exhausted might be like 2500. Sale price of your original car plus the 2500 might get something quite tasty already done. but on the other hand don't know of many 5k or 7k getting around

taking to a few places about a quote on a 12 X 6 metre shed oylimpic industries reynella store is supposed to be open at 12-4, got there at 5minutes past not open, went away for an hour come back still closed. why advertise you'll be open even on public holidays ???

Hi guys just wondering what people thought on the SA corolla scene. Would love to hear some opinions. I myself can't make it to most northern "events" and havent been out and about much since pulling the car apart. Do we do much in adelaide compared to other states ? should i be comparing us to other states ? Just trying to get some food for thought :)

The ford vs holden was pretty sit on the fence, but i did like the review. The ute mining thing was still abit way off base, i mean cmon notice all the real utes in the background were landcruisers, yeh i know its supposed to stupid but .....rant. Hasnt the ford gt been done to death ? but liked the small dog being sucked up a vent comment :) I'm looking forward to the junkyard thing next week.

so true i have 5 years mitsi dealer experience burn them all, excepty maybe CE GSR turbo 4WD lancer and some evo 3's

don't mean to be negative but every dealing ive had with them has been not so good and thumbs up to just wrecking toyotas id rather drive to wingfield than toyoland.

I can totally see where your coming from teddy, my aprrenticeship was hell, i even chucked the towel in for a couple of years after i got qualified. Went back reluctantly and found it was ok for a few years then the stupid ship all over again. I decided to try management and it worked out really well but after 2 1/2 years working for an american company. My team and the rest of Australia was made redundant for maintenance, so i found myself dealership hopping once again and found myself at a no nonsense family owned large toyota/truck/farming company and things have been fantastic. Hang in there get your papers and then start shopping around if the boss wont make real changes in the work place, its up to you. Oh and i personally think if one man touches another mans car with the intent to disrespect it then i think your perfectly within your right to slowly dismember them, salting their wounds whilst trying to keep them alive as long as possible.
