Nah ah! Looked at them, and nah..... This case lies low for the moment now. Fundage for these puppies are gonna take a little bit as I wanna get the vehicle up and running BEFORE anything else. Funny enough though, according to the poll, the Momo Sports are still the favorites. Maybe I'll purchase these for shows purposes only.

OK... this may be a funny question to ask, but I feel no harm in asking? Can K50 5 Speeds put up with anything up to 200bhp? Or will they become schrapnel internally before long? Is there a contact to build these boxes strong enough to withstand more power? Could T50 innards fit inside a K50 if this being the case? Is it WORTH building up one of these boxes? I have run a sarch on this topic before asking and I haven't found anything that really answers this question... so any help on this question would be appreciate it. I intend on keeping a 5K motor in the KE55 for a little bit, if this is of importance. Cheers

That was Paul Cundy's Rolla with a blown 383 Chev in it.... my reason for liking Rollas orginally. WHAT A BEAST THAT WAS! And yes it now has a 13B rotary turbo from a series 4 RX7 in it. Ford 9" rear and Trimatic auto (crazy trannies once rebuilt for speed)

Well he has a T3/T4 turbo on it, Turbosmart 45mm external wastegate, 3" exhaust, cooler, BOV, VL turbo fuel pumps, XF throttle body, 1000cc injectors, custom fuel rail, eletric water pump and a few more goodies, but he hasn't done the internals at all apparently. Best part of it all... street legal!!!!

OK, after all the engine conversion talk, I thought to myself, these are both tough units and are capable of producing some immense amount of power behind the wheel... so what's your choice? SR20DET? or the IG-GTE? Your votes and comments please. My personal vote is for the 1G-GTE. Why? BLKJET got one of these motors and worked the absolute daylights out of it, took both turbos off and threw on a single hybrid turbo and is producing over 500BHP at the wheels! DEFINITELY a tough cookie to try and beat!

I'm just reading a Zoom Magazine (Issue 87) and it has on the cover from Insight Motorsport in Arndell Park NSW, a KE20 Corolla with an SR20DET conversion. If no one has seen this, I will scan pics for all to see, as it is a damn clean vehicle! A neat install and it has the plates WLD-02T... and for a DAMN GOOD REASON!!! 2 actually! 1st off... 320BHP at the rear wheels (238kw @ 1.31 bar) 2ndly... 11.3 seconds @ 120mph!!!!!! I may have to start saving my pennies... ME LIKES THIS MOTOR!!! hahahaha.

Well, my friend bought a VX Calais International Gen 3 V8 and he had a hole in the block (somehow).... rebuilt the engine from ground up and he now has a street sleeper with 280+ rear wheel kw! But alot of people with VTs and VXs experienced heaps of flaws with the Gen 3 motors. These problems got fixed with the VY series... to my knowledge anyway.

Well, I got a quote on some Hyper Fang 2 wheels. 15x6.5, drilled to match stud pattern. With tyres and fitted under warranty $1300.

Well, I was told they are a special order wheel, as not many joints stock them. They CAN be ordered (the RS6s) but I'm looking at $500 per wheel!!!!! For 15s!!!!!! WTF???? I'm better off importing them myself from the states!
