WOAH! Sounds like this thing is about to launch! This is a build up I gotta see! :)

Just came back from there. I had to leave early because mum needs my assistance around the house (she's sick :) ) BUT... I must say Colin knows how to through his toy around! Good stuff! Good to see the rollaclub support too. Kangaroosa, Coln72, KE30Coupe... pleasure meeting you boys... and I noticed Kanga kept a smile on his face when he didn't notice the Commodore too close to the car park (didn't wanna cramp his style :D) That light blue rolla that was there was boogying too! This morning has inspired me to keep with the 5K option I think.. It's gutsy enough for what I wanna do to the rolla. After all, I'm more concerned with the stereo install anyway :D hahaha (Typical maco.. I know, well, I am from the northern suburbs, don't forget) Highlight for the morning... a Cooper decided to try and take a sharp corner and re-adjust his rear camber setting... IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION! :) hahahahaha 45 degree angle! Gets outside the car and looks, shakes his head... looks in his wallet and says OUCH! hahahahaha Fun morning.... and next time... I'll want to bring a RollaClub BEANIE!!!! I was frozen!!! So what were the results, Colin? Any more footage after I left, Darren?

Heard this one before.... Crack up.... I actually know somebody who sounds exactly like him. He tends to crack everytime I asked him why did you kick my dog! (shrugs shoulders) :P

My cousin can second that! He drives a 10 second commodore ONLY when he feels the need to... at street meets. He has a KE30 for a daily driver for that reason. I personally think it should've been the other way around! Like what I'm doing.. the VT is my daily driver and I'll go spastic on the Rolla! :P

Please tell me there is photographic evidence to support this material you have brought forward? Sorry (clears throat) You got pix? :D

Hey dude! Welcome to RollaClub... I was wondering when you were gonna look into this forum :P This would be a good conversion for a drag strip car, as it would be nose heavy... There was a KE35 rolling shell for sale which had a Commodore V6 and provision for a TH700R auto tranny. The guy wanted $2500 just for the shell. So it can be done.. but it won't be suited as a daily driver.

If it is cancelled... we call it a RollaClub Vic Members meet and we all go out for a drink or something... so to make the trips worth the while. You'll have to excuse me in my Commodore :P No rolla yet :D

I live in Melbourne.. need I say anymore???? A singlet, 2 tee shirts, a shirt a jumper and my jacket... That was what I had to wear in the factory this morning... and yesterday.. and the day before!! Alot of people put a custom logo or their plates on custom gauges faces. I'd have tiger print running through mine :D That's if I don't chose to go digital gauges :) Bring on the Autometer Cobalt Digital Series :P

Welcome YLD TOY! :D And yeah, I have been edged on to get a 13B turbo in my KE55, but they are big bucks to convert if you aren't doing it yourself. More frequently seen in the KE20s because of the "virtually no weight" factor. I'd personally wanna stick to piston motors... although you gotta love the fact that you can quite easily rev a rotor to 9000rpm and yet there's still more (in the words of Tim Shaw for Demtel) :P

Well, surprisingly it is straight.. but the rust spots are where my main concern are. They are repairable (easily) so I'll get hacking into them asap. I may even do a tutorial on body repair just incase one hasn't been done? Or has it? Regardless, I'll be taking snaps for the repair in process, as with every other action on this car. Unlike the other Rolla I had, I ain't hiding a moment spent on this project. Should be worth it. Thanks for the comments boys... and notice the new rear sticker? :P

I'll stick to my BP Ultimate. I tuned the commodore to run it and it gets 550km on a "s-pack-style-driven" tank. The corolla will run on the same stuff too. BP Ultimate has got my :P

OKE20? Make sure your mate gives you pics of his build up! I suggested this and was told it couldn't be done.. so now I AM curious! :P

I roughly know what I wanna do with this project, however, anything you may say that sparks my attention may be taken into some SERIOUS consideration (providing it's tasteful enough) :P
