Well, I'm not usually a religious guy, but someone up there likes me today! :yes: I don't know if he's on this forum or not (so I won't mention his name out of privacy), but a MASSIVE thankyou goes to a certain TCCAV member who not only came to my rescue with a trailer. tow vehicle & chains, but also helped me push the damn thing on & off the trailer as my mate (read: labour force) had been dragged off to the sister-in-laws house! She's at her new home! :dance: P.S - Car Clubs FTMFW!!! :y:

Sadly, car clubs/groups of people with cars have a bit of a 'stigma' attached to them as being noisy & troublesome when it comes to caravan parks etc. So I'm just happy there's a place that'll put us up, here's hoping we can change their view on what car clubs CAN be like, a good thing! :yes: We are not bogans, this is not Summernats! :laff:

Howdy all, I'm currently in the process of moving house & with that, moving a car that is not under its own power. I did have an arrangement with a tow truck operator mate, but this has fallen through, hence the late notice. :( I know I can go & rent one...I'll be honest here, I'm borderline broke & even the relatively low cost of trailer hire makes things...difficult. What I'm asking is that if anyone has/knows of a trailer that I can use to move an AE82 about 10kms in exchange for cash/beverage of choice, I'll throw in an 'I owe you a BIG favour' as well! :yes: I'm based out in the western suburbs, can travel! The window winder has a small horseshoe shaped clip between the handle & the door trim that holds it onto the winder shaft. A thin flathead screwdriver can be pushed in between the winder & the door trim, then wind the handle around until you can feel (might need to jam your face against the door trim to see it properly :lol:) it catch then wind the handle around until it pops off. *WARNING* I recommend having glasses on as these things can easily take out an eye, also you may have fun trying to work out just where the hell it went flying to! :laff:
