  4. probably a good chance the windows are made of Lexan. There is a van in the US that does all that db comp stuff. Has lexan windows around 1 inch thick. serious stuff.

  9. Did a bit more work to this thing this arvo. Stripped back part of the tailgate, just need to fix up a problem areas then its ready to get primed again. Contemplated cleaning out the interior and start getting that ready for some work. Motivation for body work atm is nil :) Going to get in contact with the uppolsterers that did the interior of my ute soonish, to see if they can hook me up with the same material for the head lining and rear seats and door trims.
  10. If it helps, I'm getting my block machined by Charlick engine services in Brighton. And you wont need to modify the tailshaft when changing to a 5spd.

    Spotted a mega clean E7 on the strand rd this arvo. approx 3.30pm Stocko canary yellow, silver superlights with whitewalls and a granny visor.

  17. Thanks goes out to Vince (Seabiscuit) for sending me some goodies over the weekend. First up, a pair of un rooted top rear shock mounts. and secondly, a pair of tail lights. seeing as one is damaged, i will proceed to pull them apart and do something special with em.

  20. Some people just don't under stand I suppose. minimum 970 tonnes is going to obliverate your sub 2 tonne econo-box. I doubt it will be the case, but i hope this is the last time it happens for you.
  21. If you want something somwhat easy for the tunnel here are a couple options. Trans from a car with a larger tunnel, bit of cut and chop then welding it in (properly) or Just making up a 3 sided box that is big enough for the box. 1st suggestion can be made to look neat.

  23. IIRC, 1 tooth over on the cam sprocket advances/retards the timing 20deg. May have found your problem.
