If you want something somwhat easy for the tunnel here are a couple options. Trans from a car with a larger tunnel, bit of cut and chop then welding it in (properly) or Just making up a 3 sided box that is big enough for the box. 1st suggestion can be made to look neat.

IIRC, 1 tooth over on the cam sprocket advances/retards the timing 20deg. May have found your problem.

Approx $160 when they get to me depending on exchange rate. Then add postage for those interstate or who can't pick up. For the couriers i prefer to use, min charge is $28. most i could see postage being is around $45.

Oh ok. Well goes to show how much i like to work on commodore utes. Just suprised me when i saw one at work with an IRS rear end. But I suppose they've either engineered it to take the loads or decreased the payloads. Just thinking back now, i have seen the IRS on earlier utes :)
