Not saying it was defected, I'm just saying what I thought from the quick glimpse I saw of it. Cream KE70, low, Fender mirrors and missing rear bar, that'd be you?
  2. All good Adam, when you can :blinks:

Spotted who i think to be camcam this morn on south rd at regency pk.....defect special.
  4. Thanks Sam. You want MORE updates, already???. Geee, tough crowd.
  5. I feel your pain Phil.
  6. The fuse box is standard i think Cuzzo. Probably left it there as it was small enough to clear the air induction that will be put there i guess.
  7. Shifter Hole mod from previous update. Took a standard shifter hole, and cut this out Which left me with this Did a bit of switcheroo, welded here, ground there. Ended up like this Fitted the steel boot plate, lines up perfect Slung the gearbox under the car in the aproximate position, lined up awesome pretty happy :hmm:
  8. Alright, bit of progress last night, Sanded the bonnet ready for primer, only to realise there wasnt any thinners for the primer :hmm: Put a strut in to get an idea of wheel fitment. looks good so far. Cut out and repositioned the shifter hole. The original shifter boot still bolts up perfectly :y: Pics up later.
  9. Cheers Bud. Gonna do an oil swap on the box, i think a decent bit of degreaser got in there when i washed it. Not to mention the stuff that leaked out was pretty nasty.
  10. What's everybodys opinion on what oil to use in a steering box? Auto trans/ power steer fluid, Diff oil or ???
  11. What are you talking about Luc. I just LOVE interference :hmm:
  12. don't GO PROCOMP. its for your own good.
  13. Hey Skd, I've probably missed it but what deadener are you using? Looks good. Great work
  14. Happy Birthday Luke  What a day, what a day. Hopefully the weekend will bring moar cheer for you.
  15. As long as all the seall can hold the boost pressure, i think.......Si, where are ya bud?
  16. As part of T4S or RC?
  17. Yep, easiest way to measure the centers  XT130 struts seem to have a universal stub axle. the RA60's fit and the slotted and drilled VN rotors i have tucked away will fit. if your going to buy the whole lot from say UPI. your looking at around 180. Plus ther cost of new rotors, pads etc. 2 x XT130 struts @ $39ea 2 x XT130 or RA60 hubs @ $29ea and 2 x MX62 calipers @ 22ea. Plus all the stuff to make em like new again.
  18. Gotta bring it along. Mines only gonna be a painted shell "work in progress" so even if its not completely finished, it wont be alone.
  19. Hahaha, I'm somehow always doing more work than Luke pn his KE's  Although a working bee sounds good. Piston Broke Automotive, tomorrow, Work on my wagon, Kthanks :lolcry:
  20. I wholeheartedly support and endorse the aformentioned product and/or service. Looks Killer in person. just needs moar low.
  21. Hey Matt, RA60 has a different bolt spacing than the 89mm (I think) spacing of the MX caliper and XT strut. The MX caliper is used as it will accept the 20 or 21mm thick RA60 Rotor. There are many performance pads available for the shape of the MX62 pad. Also the 100% pad to rotor contact is a winnah. I'm only using the RA hubs as i thought they were the ones i needed, when i needed the XT130 hubs. But they use the same bearings and there is only 1mm difference in the wheel to rotor mounting faces. The XT130 struts being 2" (51mm) there is a WIDE range of performance inserts available. (AE86 etc) Hope this answers any questions. Any others, fire away.
  22. Get to it then Luke. Springs should be done tomorrow or friday. If they are done friday i'll get my mate to get them seeing as i wont be there.
  23. In the KE55 yes?
  24. Will Do Alec. Well, Who's going? (entering) I would really like to see a Rolla Club group/display.
