  1. Looks good man :) What size rotors are on the RA40 struts?
  2. Wasnt directed soley at you mate. Just the amount that this happens where people talk about doing all this stuff on public roads, then go off their nut when laws like the one the OP was reffering to are brought in.
  3. Hmmm, overgrown dirt......Interesting. You do realise doing and/or posting stuff up like that just screws it up for the rest of us? Here we are, in a thread where the OP is saying how they can crush your car for "hoon-ish" behaviour. Then you go and post up how you just went out and found some public land to slide around on. Way to shoot yourself and the rest of us in the foot.... I just don't Fkn get it anymore :)
  4. Same here. Gotta paint the bastard and get it rolling on proper wheels.
  5. :) :P :bash: :bash: :bash:
  6. Its the same deal down here :)
  7. Do it man, Gonna need some company :)
  8. XT130 Struts RA60 Hubs 5K all mocked up so i know i got all the bolts and what they're for, before passivating Tailgate handle in place
  9. He's asking what needs to be done, NOT your opinion... Steveo; For a 5K you can bolt it right in. You can use your 4k intake manifold but a 5k one would be preferable as they have bigger ports. For a 7K-C (carburettor) you'll need to modify the sump to clear the X member, and use both the 7K intake and exhaust manifolds due to the bigger ports. For a 7K-E (injected), mods to the sump and use manifolds as above. As well as needing the computer and loom to wire it up. Then convert to an EFI fuel system (pump, regulator, etc)
  10. Sending off the entry forms tomorrow. The wagon WILL be there :)

    Spotted

So that was you at Lonsdale UPI this afternoon?
  12. There is a KE30 2dr down there now. Looks a like its seen better days.
  13. I drove this from the booth to the workshop and onto Luc's place. The amount of looks it got was amazing.
  14. Looks awesome. Hope it all happens.
  15. Alrighty, went down to the wreckers and picked up some XT130 struts. I love all the little dori kids who take the LCA's out, makes getting the struts out so much easier :) Also got a pair of RA60 hubs to go with the struts and the MX62 calipers i already have.
  16. Toyota reliability, not glass car reliability.
  17. I think Clint has it. If i remeber corectly from the OSNA thread.
  18. Are Mungi Mods ever finished :)
  19. Because i went straight home instead of the shed as i knew this was awaiting me. Then forgot to take it down with me :) Jip, It does look hot. Still needs a polish yet :)
  20. YEP, NOS. Believe it was made back in 1977. Handle was sourced thru Megat in Malaysia. As for the reflecto vents, not sure if he has any of them. If not, i'll see what i can find.
  21. Got this box today. This is what its supposed to be Lives up to the Label :) Cheers Megat :)
  22. There are few old school wheels that i know of, that look wayyyy better in smaller sizes 13" mainly. I know the dragway splats (4 spokes) i had on my KE30 looked better than their 14" vairants. << Applies to the 4 spoke variant only.
  23. He's asking why a 12a or 13b Can't be engineered, As opposed to an SR which is engineer-able :)
  24. Welding more than likely wont sort out your grinding problem. while it could be the spider gears, id be thinking more Crownwheel/Pinion or Bearings. You say its gets pretty bad over 60. unless your doing 60 around corners, I'd say its something more than just spider gears. As for the prices, depends where you are. In SA at U-Pull-It, Drum to drum diff is $95. Elsewhere could be different. Might be able to pick up a cheap late KE30/55 diff alot cheaper from someone in the wrecking forums here.
