  1. Over Carbs, yes. If you can, go for a 7K-E setup, better than the 4K-E setup.

  6. Cheers Aaran, Got the doors stripped down yesterday. While i got them all apart they will recieved electric windows and central locking. central locking is cheap, power windows arent as cheap so i might be a little while before the power windows go in. Have sorted out what I'm using in the way of a security system too.
  7. Ever thought about running KE series bumpers? The corollas over there all seem to have the big chunky bumpers that stick heaps far out.
  8. what 5 stud pattern do you wanna convert to? Going by whats in his thread, Curly has used MX73 cressida struts in his KE38 (KE55 wagon)

  12. What's Starting to Grind my Gears; That I'm starting to get a bit embarassed when I say I'm from South Australia on here. I can see exactly where people such as Redwarf are coming from, although I'm not a fan of the stereotyping of ALL SA members. Just a quick skim thru the forums shows ALOT of SA members aren't exactly helping the cause either :D [/rant]

    Also spotted a MKII corona at UPI lonsdale. Whilst leaving the guy was reversing out of his park, and swung the front end into a pole in the car park, the guy was a bit devo.
  14. a SC K engine is a REAL tight fit in a KE1x. So 4A-GZTE into KE10...... may the force (and clearance) be with you
  15. If this is the one I'm thinking of, the kings look like they're for something else. not proper RA40 springs me thinks.
  16. If thats all thats needed for the 3T-GTE swap then its all pretty straight foward. Gearbox = W5x (supra) Diff = T series (T18) Suspension = (front) XT130 struts with 86 inserts and higher rate spring. (Rear) New leaf springs with 1or 2 extra leaves, Half rebound leaf and 86 shocks. Brakes = (Front, using the XT130 strut) Corona/Celica/Cressida or Corona/Peugot/Hilux upgrades. (Rear) ST141 disc brake upgrade. You should be able to find all of the above in wreckers, forums, etc. Body strength = Seam welding and sub frame connectors. As long as its all done properly, it SHOULD satisfy the engineer.     Spotted a Metallic Brown (stock colour) KE38 leaving UPI elizabeth as i rocked up, around midday.

  20. Thanks 1JZke55 and Ryan, Had a bit of a road trip today. Ended at UPI elizabeth. Where i found a overrated condition drivers side guard. When I say "overrated" i mean, no dents, great condition chrome trim, not twisted. and most of all, NO RUST. None what so ever, not even surface rust. When i pulled it off and looked at the inside of it I almost died in shock. Just have to fill 1 hole as the 55 it came off of had long bumpers.

  25. The whole dash is different. So unless you get a complete early 30 dash it wont work.
