  2. Lookin good Jase :P certainly moving along. don't forget, that 55's coming down saturday for wrecking :y:
  3. I know of a pranged up 55, sat for 8yrs untouched in an old ladys backyard. a new battery and some fresh fuel and it fired up straight away. Smoked a little upon starting, then ran perfect.
  4. I'm waiting for the vid of driving a car with no bolts holding the struts in......Where's my popcorn??
  5. This 16 is farken sweet. Had it fly by me this arvo then pulled over and had a chat to Tom. Sounds wicked too. Heard ya baby it around the coppers :P
  6. No worries Chris. If your still unsure, just google it. plenty of pics of what iv'e (tryed to) describe :P CHEERS Ryan
  7. Grab yourself 2 rulers. Lay one flat against the lip on the back of the wheel (lip, not tyre) Take the second ruler and hold it 90deg to the first one with the 0cm side against the hub mounting surface. Have a look on your second ruler and see where the 1st ruler crosses it and take note of the distance from the hub to the 1st ruler. Then work out the difference between your measurement and the 0 offset measurement and thats your offest. weather it be positive or negative 6.5in= 165mm 0 offset = 82.5mm Eg. -10 = 72.5mm +10= 92.5 mm 7in= 177mm 0 offset = 89mm Eg. -10 = 79mm +10=99mm Any measurement on the 2nd rule LOWER than the distance for 0 offest is neg offset. And any measurement on the 2nd rule GREATER then the distance for 0 offset is positive offset. Hope you can understand it, I'm a lil tired
  8. How wide are the wheels?
  9. they will fit, with the right offset of course. I have 215/70/14's in the rear of the wagon atm. wrong offset wheel tho so they will scrub on the outside at legal height. but will fit with about another 10mm + offset. so probably looking around the +10 to +15 mark IMO.
  10. Coolest it got here sunday night/monday morn was 29* @ 5am
  11. Poor man's hone job. Got alot of people out of glazed bore/ring situations till a proper job coule be done :P
  12. Sunday's effort. Not bad for 40 something outside. Degreased the bay with a spray gun, roughed up the paint and went for it. Quite happy with myself :P
  13. I caught the end of this on the 7pm project (i think). The things people can do in a shed :P
  14. HAHAHA, love it.
  15. Should go awesomely. Ive driven what i think would be the 1.6l version of this in an MX5 with extractors/exhaust. Held its own against a VE 6lt :jamie:
  16. That sucks dude :y: hope you sort something out :jamie:
  17. All engines are basically this simple. Just depends on how much crap the manufaturer puts on them to make em, NOT SIMPLE :jamie:
  18. People just don't know what they're worth i spose. Too low of a price and they short change themselves, Too high and noone wants em. Thing is, they've been one of the more abundent KE series over the years (now *E7* are all the rage :jamie:) so everyone expects a low price. But they are getting harder to find. Both in general and in good condition. I've watched as the number of these in the wreckers have dropped over the last 18 months or so.
  19. Never mind the spring flying out at 100km/h. Shits and giggle or not. Its just a f@$ken straight out retarded thing to do. As for the ANALclub comment :y: , its for your own safety :jamie: No wonder everyone takes the piss.
  20. Yo, Beau, Do you still need a surge tank? i got one here if you want. Nothing flash but sure to do the job
  21. Nah, not really a fan of the old RB30's. VS-VY V6 bolts straight in? mounts wise or something? But mods are more than likely required so if thats the case then the 2JZ will fit too :lolcry: Hopefully the trans mounts between the R154 and W5x boxes are similar, I could use a CRS crossmember to line up the engine and gearbox for engine mount placement. But its all a long while away yet. Although, feel free to start sending me money/parts :P CHEERS Ryan
  22. Lookin good Luke. My dragways had a touch over 3in of dish and they were only 13x6. Need MOAR offset capt'n.
  23. Would you have to swap to GZE pistons to run FI on a 7AGE 16v head combo?
  24. The up or down decision is proportinal to the beer/vodka cruiser ratio on each floor.
  25. Nice Project bud. Looks as if there was NOWHERE near enough beer consumed tho :jamie:
