And here i was recommending it to anyone with a car that fits into the forum ;) You guys still love me.........right? hahah

  4. ETA on completed car man?
  5. Me either, mechanical stuff is getting closer and closer so i just can't wait for the bodywork to be finished so i can be in my element builing stuff ;) And yep, its a sweet price alright. All ACL stuff apart from the pistons and rings which are Mahle, i think. So if your out there, BIG thanks to the supplier :D
  6. Was he upset you didnt take him with you?
  7. Depends on what your looking for......
  8. "due to the larger molecules of nitrogen over oxygen it could maintain tyre pressure" Does this mean if you keep inflating your tyres with boring old "atmosphere" you'll basically have nitrogen filled tyres from the oxgen seeping out? (over a very long time) Crock of shit. I remember when it was all the rage a few years ago, now its very rarely spoken off.

Alrighty, bit of a mixed bag today. 6ish Yesterday, Lesley's AE112r in Aldgate. 6:15pm yesterday, whole bunch of cars rusting away outside Aldgate. Few FX-FJ holdens and 1 red KE55 from what i could see from the road. 1:10pm spotted an orange KE25, norwood area. Near Prince Alfred I think. 4:30-ish pm AE112 parked across from Aldgate computers, thought it was Lesley. But had different plates and wheels, Karllos possibly?? 6pm-ish Bains Rd, Woodcroft. Anemic Lemon coloured KE30 2dr. 7:20pm Concord Drv, LukeAE71 puttering around in his nana Laser.
  10. Got a few more additions to the workshop tonight. A parts washer and Roller trolley/table. Stoked ;) Also got an ABSOLUTELY AWESOME price on parts to rebuild the 5k. $380-400 excluding machining, and assembeling myself. Even more Stoked :D
  11. I can get the same (2400x1200x1) for $33 :jamie:
  12. Now that I think of it, I'm happy your gonna keep it stock. I love the look of it. If i could buy it tomorrow, I would.
  13. Whats the strength of the Stocko D-dish's compared to say, ACL O-dishes.
  14. Vernier calipers with a dial readout?
  15. Why would you go to the trouble of doing the old battery into boot then run the cables so close to your exhaust. I've done 1 or 2 conversions and the cables to even need to go ANYWHERE near the exhaust. :jamie: Hell, even in a KE1x the cables didnt even need to be exposed to the underbody until the engine bay.

Spotted who I thought was JasonKE30. Turned out not to be. Had the same wheels and colour. Different grille and no rust holes tho. Also a pretty good condition KE30 at regency tafe today. Gold meshies too. Looked awesome. And a couple twinkies here and there.

Hush Hush KE1x-2x meet, or so i recall.
  18. Lookin good Woz and Josh. Come to adelaide so i can steal your rear bar :)
  19. Yep, its a bigg'n. was able to keep the half of the inner guard and flare all in one piece. which made it easy. Will be ordering a fresh sheet of 1mm mild steel to roll up the inner guard and the rear 1/4. May even use the old flared guard as a template and roll new steel flares too :)
  20. Extreme weight reduction much? Should be awesome when I can do the micro tubs (smaller job than mini tubs) I reckon 245-255's under the bum will look horn. I'm gonna mock up the wagon with 235's to see what it looks like :) Adam, Yep. That's my 38. Shares the stable with Luc's 55 and a KE11 :D
  21. Panda E38 :) Luc stripped back the tailgate as we are hopefully getting a panel beater to work his wonders on the cars in the near future. I didnt do much (if anything) on thw wagon this weekend. Although i did almost complete the chassis welding of the 55, mutilating Luc's flares and pulling apart then dumping a few 4k's
  22. 275's Om Nom Nom
  23. Fair enough, maybe chop and repair? Remember the gutters are actually the seam/join for the side and roof of the car. I ended up making new sections for mine as they had bog in them and some parts were only holding on by the bog.
  24. Nice colour change there !! No work on the beast this weekend, spent most of it getting Luc's 55 down to the workshop. Hopefully i'll have some new bits and pieces by next weekend.
  25. Leave the gutters mate. I had the same thoughts with my 38. They create a nice border for the top of the doors. If you do decide to remove them, make sure you have some real good door seals :)
