  9. Early KE30's (jap built) have removable radiator supports. Later KE30 and KE55's have spot welded supports.
  10. Make a Sump gasket for a 4k out of gasket maker and report back with your findings.
  11. Looks AWESOME. that 12A looks right at home in the 25's bay. As does the Rotor badge on the glovebox :)

Spotted who i believe to be JUD. Pulled over by the 5-0 on Lonsdale hwy between Sheriffs and O'sullivans Beach Rd. Approx 10pm. JUD, if it was you, I hope it wasnt for anything serious. If it wasn't, I'll edit.
  13. Different for sure :) Definatly fit in with the mid 80's thru early 90's scene for sure. Kudos for doing something out of the norm by todays standards.
  14. Having owned a KE without boosted brakes. I can tell you, you don't need a strong foot.
  15. Ya grumpy ol bugger, jks :D But yes, still a 2 piece and now a remarkably good looking one at that :D
  16. C'mon Mick, your games slipping a bit. Its a Late KE3x/55 dash.
  17. Certainly makes a difference. Top stuff |blink|
  18. You guys pump out some really nice old falcons. '63 Falcon Squire getting around in Utah with airbrushed wood panels and a Roush 427 with eight stack EFI, Looks horn. Was featured in the Febuard edition of Street Machine for anyone thats got it.
  19. Nice discovery, Should make things alot easier.

I sold one recently for $70 but that was to a mate.
  21. All the 3k and 4k one's ive come across have been solid. all though they have been drilled to balance. 5K's DO have a proper harmonic balancer (2 piece with intermediate rubber) 7K's are more than likey the same deal.
  22. Black = Ground Red = constant 12v Yellow = switched 12v Green = Coil - White = lights. But in all honesty, its a stock 4k. Get an 3 3/4in 8,000rpm speco or similar. Big enough to see at a quick glance and small enough to grab unwanted attention.
  23. Welcome to Rollaclub Josh. Looks like a very tidy purchase |blink| CHEERS Ryan

Ahhhh yes, the ol glass car ay. Car looks good Karllos |blink|
  25. Alright, busy-ish weekend progress wise. No body work but I jumped the gun a little on the mechanical work |blink| Stripped and cleaned the head, along with valve springs, retainers and rocker gear. Separated the rods and pistons. Cleaned the rods. will be sent to Charlick when it the rest gets balanced to have the wrist pin bushes changed. Dismantled, cleaned and re assembled the oil pump. Will open it up again to give things a good coat of assembly grease. Looks shimk as. Cleaned the bell housing supports, alternator mount and lift hook. Supports and mount will go to work to have the shit shot blast off of them then powdercoated. Lift hook will be getting passivated along with a shit load of bolts to make them all shiney and new again. Some 4K Vs 5K stuff. Sumps 5K sump on the top. Slightly bigger than the 4K sump. Features internal baffling and a low oil sensor (broken). 5k sump will bolt to a 4k block, providing you have the 5K oil pick up. Simple upgrade for a performance 4k to increase oil capacity and reduce oil movement. Oil pumps 5K pump on the right. Has a smaller pick up filter, to clear the baffling. Pick ups are interchangable if you need a 5k oil pump and only have a 4k one sitting around. More than likely indentical internally.
