Spotted the KE30 2dr I've had my eye on again. Along with a semi-windowless KE36 and a tidy KE55. all in the same place and same owner (or father and son)
  2. WGMG, Having my old man constantly pester me about the "mess" and piles of "junk" in the shed. Sure, completely rebuilding an old car isnt nessisarily the tidyest thing to do, Especially being a 1st build and a shortage of shelving. Always saying I should just move all my "crap" out. So today I ring him to tell him i'm moving out of the shared shed and into another one with 3 mates (all of us building KE10-KE55's) and he gets all shitty at me for finally doing it. You say to do something, I finally do it and then you get shitty that i actually done it? gahhh, why can't some people just be happy?
  3. I'm making it to suit KE's and smaller for a reason :y: But definatly making it to suit lowered cars as not to have the same problems as coln72 discribed. CHEERS Ryan
  4. Oh so true Rob, The amount of people i see on the sides of the roads with boat trailers missing wheels due to bearing failure (no maintenance) is astonishing. I'm planning on building a double axle car trailer in the new year, purposly built for the weight and size of the KE corollas.
  5. You've got to be kidding right? Handled like a bucket of crap. Let alone throw in any bumps.
  6. When i went there the old dutch?? dude was already on the turps. So he might be a tad difficult to deal with. Tried selling some wheels to him, offered me a rediculously low price. I turned around and drove out.
  7. The Corona/Celica/Cressida is a great upgrade. Minimal work to get them to fit and the advantage of 258mm-ish rotors IIRC
  8. When using the Corona/Celica/Cressida front suspension upgrade the MX62 calipers are used in preference over the XT130's calipers. For those who don't know, the Corona/Celica/Cressida upgrade is Corona (XT130) struts/Celica (RA60) hubs and rotors/Cressida (MX62) calipers. I dare say Greenmac80 will be interseted in the use of the MX62 struts as thats what he will be using. CHEERS Ryan
  9. TA22 with a T series diff still in it. KE30/55's are becoming even more rarer and rarer by the day. get in while you still can.
  10. Floor pan between the 30/55's and the 36/38's are different in their placing of the shock absorbers. I dare say this will be the case with KE16/18 and KE26's when compared to the sedans they were derived from.
  11. Cheers Dale, And to the rest of RC-SA have a great time. and don't drink an drive, don't wanna see any more corolla's get all smashy smashy, sept Esevs, Just kiddin  CHEERS Ryan
  12. Realistically, I'll be building the 4K in the 38 to handle 7,500-8000. Just to tide me over till the next engine combo  Will pretty much match up with what Rob has just said (MSD ign.,Balanced, Better carb(s) or EFI, Extractors and exhaust, 606 cam and slightly lightened flywheel) CHEERS Ryan
  13. Trawling thru youtube. Found this. I lol'd.

Spotted som shitty kesev trying to get max drifties around the Weatsheaf and Dyson rd roundabout. He failed, then proceed to blow copius amounts of whiet smoke from his 70" cannon as he drove down the road. I lol'd.
  16. So sad to have let this drop to the second paeg, So a drunk bump from me. Buying bottle of JaGER with free shotglasses and a 4pk of BIG V cans = lots of Jagerbombs. out of V and almost out of jager. Onto the Johnny and colla ;) EDIT: Chrismas Morn hangover is gonna be akward
  17. Hahaha, Yep, that's Tom
  18. Least if its after OSNA i know I'll be able to get the Wags on the rd, even if its on permit. Those push button leccy BBQ's in parks are p00
  19. f@$k, what car man?
  20. Couldnt agree more, That's the reason I completely avoid department stores during the christmas season. The music, the whingy lil f@$kers and the general laziness of it all. "I don't care if you can't make up your mind about the 20kg or 50kg pudding, i just wanna get what i came here for and GTFO"
  21. Search button is your friend mate, Most, if not all the info you are after has more than likely been covered more than once
  22. If you need to reduce camber, get some KE70 LCA's. Esev boys use the KE30/55 LCA's (same as XT130) for around -2.5degrees. So the KE70 LCA's in KE30/55 should remove 2.5 degrees camber.
  23. That sucks  hope they're able to do something...
  24. Mods please Skidsharpe, please
