I don't know if it can be done on this forum, but possibly have something that stops people from joining solely for the purpose of selling something? Not a whole lie detector test about why they're here or anything like that. Just like toymods where you have to contribute to the forums before you can use the for sale section. The ones I'm talking about are the ones that join, contribute nothing to the forums and use the "privilege" of forums market place, sell their whatevers and piss off.

KE36's are KE30 style wagons 1975-78. (full chrome bumpers, 3K) KE38's are KE55 style wagons 1979-81. (rubber bumper ends, 4K, Intrusion bars etc) any ADM KE30,KE35,KE36 built later than mid 1978 was assembled in Australia by AMI. ALL ADM KE55's and KE38's were assembled in Australia by AMI.

The new 4k seems like it hasnt done much since a rebuild or something. There are still hone marks in the bores!! Also another thing i noticed was that it had a clutch cable holder tube. Dunno weather thats stock KE70 spec or ??? And the big ends on the conrods have a drilled and chamfered oil hole on them. is that something after market or Hi Cam spec? Never seen them like that before. Or mighta not noticed em on other K engines?? And the shed, will be the home of some very nice cars in the not too distant future :dance:

You can by simulators for the BCM i think. makes it think the BCM is gettin all the right signals.

Have been sanding today. About to go out again and fill the low spots, there are as many as i thought :y: Picked up a KE70 5spd today, and a 4K should be coming down on the weekend. Stoked!!! My Quote for all the suspension bushes and steering gear was WICKED. Once i get the struts all sorted and powder coated i'll be heading back down to order it all in. As of the 1st of Jan i will be moving sheds, with 2 other Rolla-heads. Bit better lay out, plenty of off ground storage and a sectioned off room. Should be awesome :dance: CHEERS Ryan

Yea, he had a whinge about stuff, so i re-organised it so it was alot better. rather than the "oh good, you've tidyed up". I got the "why'd you put that there, blah blah blah" Yesterday i went to move the wagon out with the forklift and got one of those "I highly disapprove of what your doing" looks. then things went from one thing to another. I made a joke about the mezanine he's building,. he said straight out "don't like it, get your stuff and piss off". So thats what I'm doing and now he doesnt like it. I wasnt paying any rent while I was using the shed (I offered) so it will be no different money wise for him and he'll have plenty of room for his go kart trailer that he was whinging that it wouldnt get past the wagon.

Spotted the orange ke30 2dr that has been frequently been spotted across the road from BSTG. Parked in a carpark just off millitary road in West Lakes.

Spotted the KE30 2dr I've had my eye on again. Along with a semi-windowless KE36 and a tidy KE55. all in the same place and same owner (or father and son)

WGMG, Having my old man constantly pester me about the "mess" and piles of "junk" in the shed. Sure, completely rebuilding an old car isnt nessisarily the tidyest thing to do, Especially being a 1st build and a shortage of shelving. Always saying I should just move all my "crap" out. So today I ring him to tell him i'm moving out of the shared shed and into another one with 3 mates (all of us building KE10-KE55's) and he gets all shitty at me for finally doing it. You say to do something, I finally do it and then you get shitty that i actually done it? gahhh, why can't some people just be happy?

I'm making it to suit KE's and smaller for a reason :y: But definatly making it to suit lowered cars as not to have the same problems as coln72 discribed. CHEERS Ryan

Oh so true Rob, The amount of people i see on the sides of the roads with boat trailers missing wheels due to bearing failure (no maintenance) is astonishing. I'm planning on building a double axle car trailer in the new year, purposly built for the weight and size of the KE corollas.

When i went there the old dutch?? dude was already on the turps. So he might be a tad difficult to deal with. Tried selling some wheels to him, offered me a rediculously low price. I turned around and drove out.

The Corona/Celica/Cressida is a great upgrade. Minimal work to get them to fit and the advantage of 258mm-ish rotors IIRC

TA22 with a T series diff still in it. KE30/55's are becoming even more rarer and rarer by the day. get in while you still can.

Floor pan between the 30/55's and the 36/38's are different in their placing of the shock absorbers. I dare say this will be the case with KE16/18 and KE26's when compared to the sedans they were derived from.

Realistically, I'll be building the 4K in the 38 to handle 7,500-8000. Just to tide me over till the next engine combo :thumbsup: Will pretty much match up with what Rob has just said (MSD ign.,Balanced, Better carb(s) or EFI, Extractors and exhaust, 606 cam and slightly lightened flywheel) CHEERS Ryan
