  3. Yea Pete, Sorry i didnt head around. Got a bit caught up in the action down the shed. Will make some time to head around next weekend if your keen. Looks like the 25 is just about ready to hit the road, I LOVE IT!!!
  4. 2 or more sets = 20% discount. Will run this by the mods, just to be on the safe side. Limited to 5 sets only. Already have 3 sets confirmed.
  5. Perfect caption for the engine mount; "You know you shoulda bought a KE70 when......" Lookin good Mick, hope to hear some brapping while I'm at work soon >|

Usually for the drags 3spd's are usually considered too bulky and 1st gear is too short. But I'm sure Rod would know this >| However, I'm more then certain this thing has more than enough torque to handle a spinning a powerglide on the street. Then again, a Trimatic SHOULD fit in the tunnel without mods, seeing as the 55's had them as the auto option.
  7. Flare nut spanners :jamie:

  11. Is it just the air filter or the whole carb thats loose?
  12. Wagon Will be Recieving These In Due Time If anybody is also keen for a set for their KE20-55, let me know and I'll get them in 1 go.
  13. Just to correct Matt's above post, Calipers are sourced from an MX62. Also for people who don't know already, UPI are moving just around the corner to 10 Christie Rd. (previously Production Line Holden Wreckers and Well Hung Exhausts. Opposite FibreLogic)
  14. Wont make it any faster but it will make your ears and fuel bill alot better at high speeds
  15. I actually like em. But as long as you like em, thats all that matters. Probably shoot around tomorrow. I'll shoot ya a message :jamie:
  16. Smokin' hot Pete. Might have to drop around and check it out again.
  17. Your Speco one didnt work most of the time......I know you found out the hard way :no2:
  18. Panel Beaters generally work for around $30/hr. Said panel beater got out of it long ago and not really interested in it any more. This was done as a helping hand thru a good mate.
  19. Thanks Si :D So the KM36 (5K) bellhousing is good for K to W40/50 Would that mean the KR42 (7K) bellhousing would be the one to used for W55/6/7/8 ? Or are they both the same bellhousings?
  20. RIGHTO!! Productive day today. Gary the panel beater came and beat the dent out of my tailgate. going to take very little to get it shmick now :D With the help of Luc, All of the bolt on panels were prep'd for priming. I managed to prime the drivers front 1/4, bonnet (inside and out), both the rear doors and the passenger rear window. Only got home about 20mins ago, so it was a bit of a late one. But not to worry, we have progress :D
  21. Hey guys, working on and been around a couple KM36's. My question is what family gearbox do they run? I know 7K-x's run a W56. The boxes are an external linkage unlike all other toyota (passenger car) boxes I've seen. (due to column shift) They have a removable bellhousing, am wondering if it could be mated up to a stronger box? CHEERS Ryan
  22. QFT. unless they are built for performance. Even then, give me a manual :P

Hahaha, nice plates. I get it :P
  24. Shizen.... Well, shows you how much i've driven it / slammed it into neutral.
  25. Pre-emission K series carbs had the provision for the fuel cut off solenoids. they are just blocked with a small plug and copper washer. Sounds like carbon deposits in the head/piston to me.
