  1. Good to see common sense has prevailed and this is being kept minty fresh. Good on ya mate
  2. Window reg and slides will DEFINATLY need to be changed. The panelvan doors wouldnt have the supports to hold the window when all the way up.
  3.  :fuzz: :P
  4. OK guys. Got some piccies for you all. Stripped down the pair of taillights i got from Vince. Got a mate in the plastics industry. see ifi can do something special with em. And whats the opinions on mounting for the ignition? On the side of the engine bay, like ziss Or make up a plate and mount it on the original coil mount, like ziss Also Emailed about the extractors, awaiting a final price then will send out PM's for payment. CHEERS Ryan
  5. Ahk. I know of a VB commo burnout machine with a built 355. Not putting out THAT much power tho, around 460rwhp.
  6. Oh bugger. 355 sounds good :D Wouldnt happen to be out of a burnout commodore would it?
  7. 1JZ looks right at home in there. Look how much more space you have for a bigger turbo. Wheres the tonners heart gone?

  9. Hmm just figured id bump this up for some opinions as aksed in the above post. Probably gonna go with some ones out of thailand or singapore for the doors and get some real good ones for the windscreens. Also found a set of retractable seatbelts for the rear...WOOO
  10. $15 + post on the grille Beau
  11. Took you this long to figure it out?? Absolute head f@$ks at times.
  12. Oh hell yea!!! May i ask, what material is the head lining. been meaning to chase it up for a while. I got the same in my ute and want the same in the wagon.
  13. Thanks again guys!! Fusion, I may be a meanie with a KE38. But least i got a 38 :D
  14. i dunno, didnt know time went back that far :P Just realised, I'm getting more of a happy birthday here that from my family....
  15. Id put fuel consumption worries directly down to the tyres. Remember, its only 1.5lt's turning 31 inches of rubber and steel. Mainly in stop/start situations where you need to get them going from a standing start, once your going inetia helps out.
  16. Hahaha, your getting there :laff: Cheers man :)
  17. Booking plane tickets to commence aformentioned karate chopping of Beau's neck.....

  19. Thanks Guys. Feelin it. Gotta get my wagon done before i get as old as that Luc dude......whatta fossil. Happy 21st for a while ago Luc
  20. I know it, you know it, everyone knows it......This car is TOUGH. Love the stance, the convos and even the colour is doin it for me!!
  21. You'll need the tailshaft out of an early KE30 (74-77) Difference is the flange where it bolts to the diff. rest of the taishaft is the same. 1 thing to watch out for is that the splines on auto and manual gearboxes is apparantly different. So if you have a manual, grab a manual tailshaft. and visa versa.
  22. Your telling me Josh!! Some days i wake up and think "hmm, wonder if the elves finished the wagon for me?" But its a big learning experience for me. Just want the body work to be out of the way. Oh, and if anyone comes across a VGC passenger front 1/4. please let me know. its the only panel I'm missing at the moment. Scoping out for door and window seals aswel, figured id get a bit of info on em rather than going out and buying the first ones that pop up. Who have people found to be the best? a few out of thailand and singapore seem a bit too cheap. Phil's Rotarys is another ove checked out. $180 for 4 door seals. Seems a bit excessive, but really its only $45 per door. Opinions wanted.
  23. A little more work today. got the 5K sitting in the bay on mounts. Decide to start figuring out wher the wires would be run. At that point i realised i was meant to call up the wire suppliers abot 3wks ago :D Sorry Jono. Also decided i don't like standard K engine mounts. Looking at them, the design seems to encourage tearing of the rubber :D Hmm, just another project i spose. Modified shifter hole seems to be in the right spot, now that i have an engine in there to get the gearbox in the right spot.
  24. don't do it man. you've come so far with it. If future plans involve a dirty nissan engine or rotary, i swear i will come over there and karate chop ya neck.
