  1. Cake is tray safe. Its gettin plenty scratched up now :S
  2. I know we could lift greenmac80's 55 shell (totally bare) with 2 guys on the back and 1 on the front. would probably even out somewhat with the engine and suspension up front.
  3. Yea man, I'm hopin to get into it as soon as i have some time that I'm not working. Will be doing bits and pieces on the wagon in between sorting shit out to get my ute running 100% again.
  4. Thats what i was pretty sure about, just wanted confirmation. I'll keep lookin then... Thanks for the quick reply :S
  5. I'm pretty sure i can't but i will wait for a definate answer. Hydro cam in the utes kicked it in on the #1 inlet lobe and a Brand spanker lumpy cam has come up for $100 with lifters and gears. Only thing is that its a solid grind :S
  6. I might come if in the tank if the cams done and there is confirmation there is cake. I hereby offer my tray as a table.
  7. Sorry its a little off topic but can someone confirm I can't run a solid cam in an engine with a hydro valve train?
  8. Turning right at the Lonsdale hwy and O'sullivans beach rd intersection. Turned right, and at the last second saw the van on the right. Then watched at he pushed the side of the car in. I made it 80% the way across, when he hit. I had a look at where it happened and there arent even any skid marks from his side which means he didnt even touch the brakes. $322 fine and 3 demerits for failing to giveway. So that means I'm off to court to appeal my licence.
  9. The one on the lefts got a face like a dropped pie.
  10. As Rob Schnieder says, Goes together like lamb and tuna fish.
  11. No, thats what give the people the name "wanker" :S. I could understand if the car itself sounded alright. But all it is, is Braaaaaahhhhhh.....Flutter. Put it in reverse. Braaaaaaahhh......Flutter. Look back, Foot off the brake,Reverse. Braaaaahhhhh....Flutter. Out of reverse, into gear, Mover fowards Braaaaaahh....Flutter, Braaaaahhh.....Flutter etc etc. Gets kinda annoying. Just wanna eat my fkn meatball sub in peace hahah
  12. I picked up a set off of ebay for like $45 and havent had a problem with them.
  13. +1 for coolant. I had to use water once. (i had no coolant left :S) and i was suprised at how much warmer it got with the water instead of coolant.
  14. I could imagine someone having to hose the car out :S
  15. See what happens :S If you ever need to get out of the house, Adelaide isnt THAT far away........
  16. Hmmm, nahhh. In times of no bacon you can become irrational. Good thinking tho. We need someone who understands a bacon crisis. Anyway, WGMG. The blokes in the turbro Skyriners Dosing and fluttering as they drive around the tafe carpark. Even backing out of their carpark :S
  17. Good idea :S How much to adult nappies hold?
  18. Thanks guys. Curly, f@$k yea, wagon rep :( Wanna build a 3RZ-TE for this wagon? :S Hope to have it on the road by march, gives me a month to sort it out before my birthday. And if its all good it will be a wicked present for myself :o
  19. Hi-Lux will be near indestructible. Plenty of ratios and center options for them too. If you want to run the commodore 5x120mm pcd as opposed to the Toyota/Ford 5x114.3 then get the axles redrilled. Considering your gonna have to get it shortened/mounts swapped etc, i don't think a stud pattern should get in your way. Looks like the project is really flying along
  20. Thanks for the good words guys, one thing I'm proud of Rollaclubs Regular/Senior members, A real sense of community when something not so good happens. Cheers. As for progress on the wagon, ive masked up some of the door openings, windscreen and tailgate. gettin there for the primer. Also picked up a big book on sheet metal work, might give me some ideas
  21. I used to be able to do 300km a week and only use around 1/2 tank in the SLO-030. Works out to around 7-8L/ 100km. Also works out to around 12km/ Litre. And that was sitting in morning and afternoon traffic on south rd 5 days a week.
  22. Why do you have no bacon? This is a national emergency
  23. I was getting 5km/Litre in the ute = around 20L/100km
  24. 20v = no grindy grindy for the transfercase
  25. There was a time where it was 41* in the shade and only then the HR guy came around with ice blocks. We have found if you don't stand in the sun (or furnace) and eat it, it wont melt in 2 seconds
