The spark plug tube O-rings i got in my ACL gasket kit were brilliant. Used them with original tubes on my old 4k and never had an oil leak issue with them.

Spotted a Yellow KE70 on Winston Ave approx 4:30. Looks like the dude was driving like a tool.

Pulled the Fuel tank out last night and wire brushed it ready for Luc to give it a coat of Jotun HD black (same as his T50 is done). Also getting the spare wheel bracket powder coated. Thought i could possibly make another fuel tank out of one of the stainless tanks at work. design it so the spare wheel is hidden up in the middle of it so its out of veiw. Kinda like the original but better. Started coating all the no visible rust repairs in Ormonoind Brushable bitumen to keep all the rust causing water and crap out of areas that arent perfectly sealed. Will be giving the insides of the doors, both front and rear 1/4's and most likely the inside of the roof as it has both noise and vibration dampening properties.

4agte, simply for the amount of parts popping up now to do the conversion in pre-E7 models. 3RZ-TE, tried and tested method of getting an old ke36/38 moving along quite nicely. Just ask Curly. +1 for 3RZ :y:

I don't know if it was you or someone else talking about this kit a while back. I have one of these kits. all put together including knock sensor, hand controller, Controller lead,map sensor and coil driver. Never really got it working, if your keen with electronics you can have a go at it. MOST of the hard work is done

Word your thinking of is Vestibule (spl?)

Take the rotor button off Not sure on how the electric ones come out (points have 1 screw for the points and 2 for the advance plate) Under the advance plate should be your advance weights. the weights will either be removed or restrained in some way. Hope this helps

How is the elec dizzy locked? have a look and see if the weights can be released. Id say the diaphram SHOULD swap over.

Spotted who i think was Ronnie or Ronni3 in his blue ke30 2dr heading towards the city on fullarton rd approx 4pm. Also sitting in front of a black 112 levin a bit after that on Main Rd blackwood/coromandel valley.

Possibly base it around the Splitter that was sold thru rollaclub a while ago. Can always make it a bit more aggressive, hell, id buy one for the wagon.

Cheers Chris. Its not welded at all. Gonna cut up some 55 end caps into strips where the bolts are to cover the join. Its not 100% but it'll do till i can find a three-six bumper.

Yea man, off of front bumpers and the holes are in the right positions too. Seeing as most ke30 front bars are pranged up in the middle it seems like a good way to put them to use. Messed around with the boot hinges tonight and got them working as they should be. Just had to replace a nylon bush and she's in business. Boot lid is back on and being held in position quite nicely for sanding.....again. pulled out the front carpet and underlay. Found a lump under the sound deadener in the passenger foot well. Turned out to be an M12 bolt in primer. Looks like it got left there when they layed the deadener >.<

I Think its a K-W bell. AFAIK Mark built it with a commercial trans and the KR42 W-box springs to mind
