I am currently rebuilding my carby, would people like me to post info and pix of the work?? for future referance? btw.. if your ke20 goes throught 20lt's of fuel for every 90km travelled, check your intake manifold it will be FULL of fuel LOL.... :)

if i fit the extractors will will connect it 2" pipe but i was unsure why he told me it would fit to the current exhaust. also do extractors still connect in to the intake maifold as with the standard exhaust?

that would be great if you could scan it... but i don't know what i could do in return?

My mate was driving from canberra to wagga wagga and his car just stoped it took me three hours on the side of the hume to find out his fuel pump was not getting fuel, he could not find anything wrong (he did not have any tools with him except of a roll of sticky tape... he decided that the best way to fix the problem wouldbe to wire the fuel pump to his tail lights and drive with his lights on, anyways he did that and the problem was fixed, the funny part of the story is some body tried to steal the car a week later and guess what ... they only got out his driveway LOL... lucky it was day time. BTW remember to check your fuse box.... he didn't....... get my drift........

just a note to all Super or leaded fuel was 95/96 octaine and ULP is 91-93, my little ke20 knockes it head off when i run ULP so I run PULP 98 only, runs fine use the lead additive every 3rd or 4th tank ... seems fine, the main problem with unleaded fuel is it burns hotter, and can break stuff, just make sure your radiator is all ways in good shape... fact's, who needs them, they can be used to prove any thing.

the local exhust shopjust quoted me $265 for a set of extractors.. i will have to fit them... but the thing i don't understand the guy said they will fit straight on to the rest of the normall exhust.. does that sound right to you guys?

does any body have the ke20 workshop manual, i ordered one from a local spare parts dealer onlyto be told its $85 and i have to wait up to 6 weeks... if they can still get it at all

just a side note... people think i am an idiot because I would be happy with twin carbs, goodexhust and some headwork on my ke20... every body all ways tells me .." but a 12a will fit in there nicely... then they offer me $200 for the car... why can't i be different? is there a law against that?

I work for an electrical wholesaler... if you need parts e.g cableand things like that i can give at least full trade discount just let me know whats parts you need and I will give you a price... btw i can get more then just electrical stuff i can also get stuff like tools and so on..

You think this car is dirty, you should spend a night with the driver... don't like my driving stay off the foot path...

Nick dysolve name David Car's -- GOOSE EGG...ke20 2 door sedan 1200 4speed, white and still has the black vinal roof...all standard except for the ke30 raditor (cost only 50 buck with warranty- they want 200 for the ke20 one) getting regoed for the first time in 7 years on wednesday. I forgot about the rusty sticker on the windscreen it really makes the car LOL....it was free.. the car and sticker... it sat in a friends shed since 1997 because the guy who owned it since new passed away... he imported it from japan new as far as i can find out it still has the original 12" rims and two piece hub caps on it...ohh yeah he added a tacho it even has ke20 corolla on the tacho ... and the factory exhust is still on it it's see through but not leaking... my really car is BIGBIRD an 1984 dual cab 4wd diesel hilux LN65 for those who care... 2.4lt blueprinted and balanced. supra spec 5 speed gear box dual batteries under bonnet (btw this can not be done) I think i might have the most power full car here... all 55HP at the flywheel.... but she will pull over 5 tonne like theres nothing behind it... she in a few million bits in the backyard.. putting a new cab on it because metal cancer killed to old one.... everything in the truck is new except for the cab and dash.. I can list the mods but this is a corolla web site at least it a toyota......

forgot to add... venting to atmosphire can KILL... alot of old refrigerant's are carsangenic... and can cause anafolatic shock... sorry my spelling is crap but i worked in the a/c industry for a few years and i heard of many a/c people in hospital who passed out and there heart stopped and they still got hit with fines... and not only that but 1kg of refrigerant can kill 10 tons of o-zone.... NO BODY should recommend or try to release gas to atmosphire for these reason's.

it depends on what gas is in the a/c unit do you know what gas it is? venting to atmosphire can cost you $50k plus and any aircon guy can "reclaim" the gas for a small charge... also what are you going to regas it with?? if the seals are ok try and get some one to refill it with carbon dioxide..... to cut a long story short ... its cheap and really good refrigerant...

the beatle sold the most cars for a single model but did you know the excel names was changed to the accent for two reason one the excel had a bad name and also it was about to out sell the beatle and rumore goes the hyundai did not want to do that with a crap car

a little bit off topic, but how much is the standard system v extractors and will a 3k run dual carbs with the standard system untill i can get extractors?
