Just a quick question would there be any advantage to removing my muffler from my standard 3k powered ke20?? this is for a khanacross event so street legal does not matter. I was thinking about cutting the muffler off the car and welding flanges on to the exhaust and the muffler so i could just replace it with an exhaust tip with a foot of pipe on it instead of a muffler..

umm this is for real this is a pix of the floor pan of my hilux... lets just say with out repainting the hilux it will cost 4Grand to fix the rust No.1 -- this is the bolt that holds the cab to the chasis...but the rust is doing a great job of replacing the bolt..LOL No.2 last time i did a creek crossing these three little hole worked great for drainage... No.3 It does not look like it put i lost a two dollar coin through that hole, its hard to see if this angle.. No.4 one hit of a hammer and i wouldhave no door rail LOL... the good news is this hilux is going to the tip.... just taking the running gear out of it i just bought a dual cab 84 model for $1000...

I already have the dash, I am going to change to clear plastic covers on the gauge's to black perspecs.. just have to make sure the LED's will be bright enough to let me see through the blackness... I know the white will work...but the other colours i am unsure about..

i found out what the problem is.. the fuel pump is allowing to much fuel to be sent to the injectors, so soot is building up on the cylinder walls which is ending up in the oil, this in turn causes the oil to over heat and when it cools down it form clumps around the soot..... i have seen petrol cars over fueling before but there oil turns to a water like thinkness.... forgot that the diesel will burn all the fuel but leave heaps of soot behind LOL.... thanks for everybodies help....

.....warning :D warring.... the jap's are crap at inventing anything really, they are the worlds best thief's, but once they get there hands on something they can improve it out of sight, as you all may or maynot know i am a great fan of diesel engines, but the current jap diesels are about 15 years behind the german diesels, just look how long nissan has been making its current 4.2 diesel. just to make my point... people from the US and EC would see this more then us as most of our cars are 10 years behind the rest of the world... e.g the dunnydore and falcon 6cyl engines
