  1. must have been at the wrong palm beach, I'm sure even Avalon could hear me coming :P Thanks for all the work you did this time Andrew, I'm sure we all appreciate it when someone takes their own time to organise something. I'll be there next time, with bells on again! lessons learnt, schools out
  2. so when's the re-shoot?
  3. I'm still keenif others are, not too late is it?
  4. looks like a no-go anyway, aparently it handles like a b*tch
  5. Ok. I'm keen on adjustable coil overs and have been reading the many different discussions out there about using s13 coilovers and brake. Sounds like a great idea, but havent seen any discussion about putting them in a ke35 coupe. Now the deal is that you swap the camber plate with an ae86 or ke70 item fore the respected vehicle. would this also be the deal for the ke35? anyone else done this and want to share their experiences? cheers
  6. fingers crossed I get the car back today :) so I'm a definate maybe too
  7. I would also be keen for a forced induction manifold and plenum if those are being made aswell. >450 for both...
  8. Also helpful http://forums.toyspeed.org.nz/viewtopic.ph...asc&start=0
  9. Thats crap, you got proof? *Goes hunting for the facts*
  10. If I have the coupe back by then Ill be keen to come up and meet some of you guys, since you'll all be in my back yard :jamie:
  11. keen as a bean
  12. hey thanks guys, Ive found one from a ke70 5speed k50. ill post up later if it doesnt fit. in regards to custom, I want it now, spend as little as possible, and when I do get pulled over which will happen, Id rather it look stock than stick out like dogs balls cheers
  13. thanks a bundle dude now to find one :) :)
  14. really? nice! hmm.. shame my t50 one wont fit :) any one got one in sydney for cheap?
  15. Hey all, After compatible and readily avaliable crossmembers that will allow me to bolt up my w series gearbos to my ke35. All help appreciated. P.S. don't say custom :) :)
  16. Should do another group buy, except this time for 4age/4agze. I'd be keen, and I'm sure a few others would be. where those ones from NZ any good?
  17. Correct, especially since most RWD engine bays these are destined for are tiny (ie firewall bashing for dizzy) Low cost is due to old vehicles being mass produced. 20v are still relatively new/hard to find
  18. Seen a couple of old school rollas up this way but seems to be a bit of a rarity (sp :P) keen to catch up/have a chat/meet etc. with other corolla owners
  19. gah! you beat me... Will only become a problem when you snap your cam belt :fuzz: don't mistake that for most common base. can't remember where if ound it but technologically (lol sp) both the silvertop and blacktop head are better in areas of efficiency etc. Ill try find it..
  20. 8.9:1 pistons out of the later model 4AGZE Bluetop and red-black top 9.4:1 has been successfully done aswell. with a really good tune, i have also seen a silvertop with stock internals run a TD05 successfully
  21. Well as far as I have found out, The w5X boxes all have 21 tooth splines, and a 29(?)mm input shaft. so the only hard bit is finding a clutch that matches your flywheel diameter. MR2 4agze or MA61 supra's are fairly common clutches to use. remember that from the blue top through to blacktop and both 4agze's the fly wheel ranges from 200mm to 230(?)mm Ive posted above some updated info that I have found out along the way. basically no 4age/4agze clutch will fit unless its an MR2 clutch and flywheel.
  22. clutch?! the t50 has a different spline to the w55. So which clutch should I use?
  23. :) my bad can i use the one from the T50? is it electronic?
  24. Ok so the T50 is buggered so I've source a W5x series gearbox and its pretty cheap for coming with a bellhousing as well. RWD is normally not my thing so I just wanna make sure I've thought of everything so the process isnt slowed thatmuch. Gearbox with bellhousing -> Check starter motor -> the standard 4a one ok? Speedo cable -> electric/mechanical? interchangable? Clutch -> Still at a loss for this one, need one to fit 200mm 29.8mm centre and 21 tooth. Found out its a bluetop flywheel :) Shifter position -> Holes will need to be cut, both the t and w boxes are long Driveshaft -> Will need to be shortened, use the front half off the w55 box and the 2nd half of the k/t series drive shaft and get made into one big ass shaft :) Any help/comments is appreciated
  25. As WinKE55 said, pull the badges off and no one will know. Not too sure on the Nova as I'd never seen on till I got to Australia, but from what I've seen the majority of them are 4afe or 7afe (1.8ltr) in the later models What info did you want to know? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Corolla_E90#Australia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holden_Nova 2min google
