sounds like a vacuum leak did you make sure to block up the emission plugs you removed gear from?

hmm, a 7afe bottom end might work, but a 16v bottom end would be more rev happy though wouldn't it? could you use a 16v head on a silvertop 20v bottom end?

I'm pretty sure this engine came from a ae92 corolla, but I'm not sure what has been done to it its a bigport 4age 16v with a 6 bolt crank. now i did a bit of looking around and it seems that most 4age cranks have 8 bolts, i know that 4ac flywheels are 6 bolt, anyone know if that would work? anyone come across this before? i can't seem to find much info

So guys, it finally happened. GM america filed bankrupt, but there still going to keep operating under the General Motors name. How is that even possible? it was holdens first turbo offering, but it is pretty sad I'm sure they would go well with a rebuilt and a decent turbo setup.

could need a tune up, has a vacuum leak, or both get a mist squirter and spray a little water around inlet/exhaust manifold to check for leak while its running. revs die = leak did you check the inlet and extractors with a straight edge before putting them back? there was a thread about the flange of the extractors being slightly bigger than inlet flange a few days ago just a few ideas you need the distributer vac advance & charcoal canister line, check out the vacuum diagrams in the faq http://www.rollaclub.com/faq/index.php?tit..._System_Diagram

look on youtube for some ideas medicineman has thrown up a few video's of his ke70, and he has twin dellorto's with a tighe 104 nick's car sounds crazy with the cam he has but his is pretty extreme
