  1. Ay, welcome to rollaclub man! Hurry up and put the '82 into the weeds man, haha. Is it worthy of a pic? What part of Kal are you from? Haha, thats the spirit lappy, i should get some like rolla boys stickers that'll get some attention :P Oh yeah mate, if you PM your adress to me I'll send out some rollaclub stickers your way.... same goes with the bloke in Tom Price.

    Nice turnout!
  3. Funnily enough, i've collected enough quality bike parts over the last 5 or so years to build about 5 bmx bikes haha... well maybe not but I've definetly got enough to build at least a few. Got plenty of mountain bike parts but I strip them and can't remember how the gears work, dunno but I guess that i gotta put em back together someday. Sadly, for me its bike or car... i chose car...
  4. Oi c**t, gimme your shoes.

    3a-u?

Ah, the serenity. Just came back from a 'relaxing' weekend in Bonniedoon, haha, to realise that the bloke hasnt sent me the bloody pictures. Oh well. Will post them when they are recieved lol... Dan.0
  6. From what I understood, 4K commercial rods and 5K rods are both the same? If not then 5k rods would be the way to go for me, providing that the rod is the same length as the 4k rod (dreams that the crank makes up the stroke) well i can dream. If I were to chase the 32mm pin height for the pistons they would have to be custom made, yes? Dan.

    3a-u?

I know your watching this, biatch.
  8. Another thing I'd like to ask, is whether the 4k rods will bolt up to the 3k crank. This is essentially what I was asking in the first place. I should have simply asked whether the stroke was made up in the rod, or in the crank, or both. I want a beefier rod, in other words. God damn it, Felix, your a bloody legend; you answered my question before I even asked it! Hang on, one more thing; will the 4k rods bolt on to the 3k crank? Fark this is the third edit! I take it that if 3k rods will bolt to 4k crank it would work vice versa? Then I would need pisons with a pin height of 32mm, correct?
  9. Reality is I'm trying to get more power and reliability out of my engine illegally (according to junior sedan specs i can only race 1200s). As long as it looks like a 3k on the outside, once those seals are done baby I can do whatever i want  . Actually, on recollection, I think I didn't explain it correctly. The reason why I want to know about the K rod interchanges, is because I read earlier in this thread that the 4k commercial/5k rods are good for 10,000rpm, rather than the 3k which I have read elsewhere is good for 8,000rpm. This certain mod I want to do for reliability. No one will notice, its not as if I'm going to go out there and blitz the competition or anything. Just more fun for me, and not have to worry so much when I thrash my car. Thanks for the help!
  10. Postwhores. Will 4k/5k rods fit a 3k, and is there a difference in piston bore?

    3a-u?

Neither can I, he better hurry up i getting impatient

    3a-u?

Well, he did say that it was an import though. Hence my optimism

    3a-u?

Well, by the end of the night, I should have a photo of the car. According to him, its had a small bingle in the front, is RWD and has a 3A-U engine, and is an import. Gee I hope it is an AE85... somehow, for $100, i doubt it  but I can get my hopes up.

    3a-u?

Yeah I wish; i think everyone knows how good they are  Maybe its the corollaII, soon i'll have a pic anyway. Dan.
  16. I got some choice words for kangaroosa's mate that removed his gas tank in the quest for power and weight loss - i can pick up a 90l gas tank by myself, gas weighs less then petrol and i have no doubt that the stock EB 75L petrol tank would have weighed almost as much as the gas tank - not to mention the power gain by tuning your car to single fuel... Haha i meant to write that as a sentence..... well i sort of did... I know of cars that run without carpet, however whether it is legal or not I am unsure. Just paint your floor black once you've taken out the carpet, no one will be able to tell the difference  so dodgy... Boofis I'd say that it would be ok to remove the airconditioning, and probably the glove box as well, because from memory when I took out the glove box in my rolla it didnt leave any sharp edges. Damn I write essays.... Dan.

    3a-u?

Hehe I hope its the downsyndromes love child of a corolla, cos that sort of thing appeals to me... Lol. He is going to send me some pictures anyway, so I'll soon work out what it is... Dan.
  18. hehe Rolla Boy to the rescue!!! Anyways even if you did paint it export black, it would end up looking like shit within a month or so anyway from little rocks hitting it and scraping up the paint. Suppose its better than having half an intercooler due to an hungry kerb  jk....

    3a-u?

Thought the Tercell would be both AWD and too new for scrap metal.... Wonder what it is, I'll get him to get some more info.... Dan.
  20. Me likes the old car, very tough. But pink ? Points for originality  !!! And black bonnets rock my socks.
  21. Dan

    3a-u?

Tercel being one of those rolla wagons? I know the 3a-u is a 1497cc (close to that anyway ) engine. I thought that any after late 80's corolla was front wheel drive, or AWD.... Cheers, Dan.
  22. Well I got chatting to a towie that collects the old cars for scrap metal. He reckons that at the moment he has two corollas in his front yard, one ae82 shitbox and an "import RWD corolla with a 3a-u engine in it". I've tried googling it and the only corolla I can find, through foriegn Toyota engine lists, is the 'AE60' model corolla. Except for the fact that I can't find any AE60s that exist on google, or rollaclub. I presume that it must be an AE50 or KE50, and it was simply a typo on the engine list. Can anyone help me with this? Cheers, Dan.
  23. Yep, this has happened to me once. I tried every anti-virus that I could lay my dirty little hands on, but nothing would get rid of the virus. My one was found to be in the system files so I simply burned all my files onto cd, reloaded windows and scanned the cd with Norton Antivirus before I put the files back onto my computer. The only reason I knew I had the virus was because it took over my desktop with a big blue screen saying in red, "your computer has been infected". Funnily enough it was when I was looking for a crack (dealer) because i 'lost' my previous code.... Once you reloaded your computer, since it was such a pain in the arse to do, and i didnt want to do it again, i went out and bought the whole Norton studio so it wouldnt happen again. I f@$king hate computers. Dan.
  24. I know ay, need more west aussies.... Get some of the speedway boys on here, override rollaclub with junior sedans!
  25. Well, I just noticed that we only really have three active members, and recently a new member... That ain't many members considering (especially cos two of us aint got licences and ones up in Tom Price...) Wouldn't it be great to actually have Perth cruises and events. Rather than watching our lame assed eastern states brothers have all the fun (jk blokes) or SHOCK: go on a OST cruise (not that there is anything wrong with that, by the way). There is only one way that can be achieved.... C'mon people surely you all have mates that are into rollas and toyotas in general, tell them to get their asses onto here!!! Cheers, Dan.
