So do you agree with me that its cheaper to make a fast forced induction motor than the equivalent NA? I think you'll also find theres a point over which you will struggle severly to make more power with a NA engine. Id love to see you try and make a 2500hp NA Top doorslammer motor.... There is a technical reason for this...but I'm not about to explain it if I don't need to....if you want me to I can

Engine talk
Formula atlantic...its already been done...I think its cheaper and more viable for us to make a turboed motor make the same power as a $11,000 NA FA 4A-GE....and we're talking about a SR20DE here..not a 4A-GE

Engine talk
Trust me...i have it on a reliable source that S15 SR20s make no where near as much as S13 SR20s...and they have a bigger turbo S15 186kw @ 6400 rpm with a T28 60 trim 60 mm BCI-1 compressor in T-04B housing S13 ~220kw with the same turbo go figure also...S15 SR20s run 10:1 CR with 8psi boost S13 SR20s run 8.5:1...more boost anyone?

If i had to pick an SR20...it would be an S13 SR20...they went backwards in the S14-15 when the put the VVT in....

Jamboree Roll Call/meet Up
last year it was the other way round 40 degree day (saturday)....i had heatstroke that night...and i had to work i don't think you'll see a 0 degree night out there in september. The humidity may be pretty high though. Thats why the built the track where it is. One night it was 100% humidity. Condensation was forming on EVERYTHING. It was around 15-20 degrees and it felt like it was freezing.

5k Help
Now for my 3rd post in a row Just a warning. don't use any avgas OTHER than the leaded 110. All the other avgases for piston aircraft are down around 70-80 octane
-
5k Help
110 octane is the leaded stuff....It should be fairly expensive because the lead they use is only produced by one company in the world...and its in the UK
