:yes: Its highly unlikely you'll make the deadline anyway. If the conversion was half done and it was a few things here and there that needed tidying up then maybe, but it hasn't even started yet. You'd need to find a workshop that knows the conversion (highly unlikely), has a week or so free (unlikely) and is prepared to work to a deadline. Concentrate on the exams and then work on the car in your own time after. It will be finished when its finished, throw deadlines out the door.

That'd be great Trev. Seriously though, whats a set of front pads for a KE70 worth? I think my Ferodos were about $50 and Bendix G-CT were $40something. Shoes might be a little more pricey but you could get second hand ones. They tend not to wear very fast at all.

Mk5 VW Golf TDI ... or pretty much anything euro will eat up the miles. Whatever you get make sure it has cruise control. It might sound gimmicky or annoying or whatever but it makes a huge difference to how fast you fatigue.

I'd just go with the lighter of the two. Otherwise CP seems to be the common choice even for big budget builds.

How long were you getting out of pads before? Bad radial taper wear or just wearing down very quickly? Whats the size difference between stock and the wilwood rotors?

Gumpert Apollo is similar but a bit more restrained. Photoshopped into frame, but I think this is the production version.

Oh very nice! Wilwood are such fantastic value for money.

T25g is also bush bearing. So are some of the T28s but that's where you'll start to find the factory fitted ball bearing units.
