  1. Latop not at work - I will do it tonight :D There were lots of washers used for correct spacing apparently :D I think it needs some re-working to make it work 100% and I am one of those people who likes to do shit properly.
  2. I have a pic on my lap top... not sure how close up it will be though
  3. Ha ha!!! I just love the fact you turned it from a well looked after grandma car to a thrashed out prepubescent teens car within hours I absolutely love it :D
  4. Cheers Ryan :D I gotta get down there and get no. 3 cranking, I pick up some more parts for that today!!! I've had some more thoughts about changing the rear to 4 x 114.3 which could work!! I really want to get these rims fitted before All Japan Day
  5. My lips are sealed...... :D
  6. Well I don't know if I am overreacting but I will be bringing the KE11 on a trailer, and not bringing no. plates or rego. sticker and will be covering up compliance plates also :D
  7. Do you want him to come round and install it for you too Do some searching you lazy sod :D
  8. You should try a Rat Rod style with this one Troy!! Would be quite the contrast from your clean orange one. :D A few months back I saw a beetle in the Rat Rod style and it was awesome :D
  9. Some things are worth doing to be "different" but this one is not :D
  10. nah I won't get the chin spoiler thing... nah the super special surprise is going to be wicked and I will reveal it when I can pull it off
  11. I think the most stunning thing about the wagon is the fact that you just don't see them around anymore. I think this is the first time I have seen one ever
  12. Saw this in the flesh on the weekend when I was at Troy's!!! I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked up and it was rolling out the driveway.... damn son this thing is FINE!!!! Also saw the Orange VW, also very cool :y: I would be a very happy man having both these machines to choose from to drive, I would have to flip a coin every day
  13. Ah that is the reason, I didn't notice it was only visible in the trader area. Sorry
  14. How come some people have the trader rating and some don't??
  15. If you're doing it in a AE71, use a KE70 cable as it is much longer and direct fit. I would say the AE86 would be the same
  16. I have bought some more goodies for this car lately: - Pair of JDM TE27 Fender Mirrors - real deal!!! - Nardi Woodgrain Steering Wheel - doesn't fit needs different boss kit - Super Special Surprise  - Brakes and backing plates to change front stud pattern to 4 x 114.3 I will post some pics when these things are on the car
  17. Well to throw something else in the mix... I just bought a Nardi wheel which was on a KE20 and it does not fit my KE10. It is too long!!! I am going to look at ways to modify it or get a correct one. Not happy jan

    Spotted

Spotted Karllos going past Grumpy's last night in his Sportivo. Karllos blow off valves that make a noise are so 1999  Other than that the car looked and sounded nice :hmm:
  19. thanks for SHOTGUNNING it for me, I went and removed it just recently. I guess like most you are too lazy to go out there and do it yourself
  20. I don't know about that, but I would be very grateful if you could start a thread about your car and give some more information. I have a KE1x and would love to know info about your suspension and brakes etc Help us out here there is not much info for that series
  21. According to the seller this engine was taken out of a running crashed car, then it was put into the vehicle we bought and the reason for sale of the car was that the Toyoglide was stuffed and no drive. This happened shortly after the install of this 4K. I might add this motor started very easily after insertion of new points and ran well with the exception of the smoke. It didn't run on less than 4 cylinders or idle lumpy like it would if it had a BHG. The Toyoglide is stuffed so the question begs, why would you go to all the effort of installing a motor which you know is stuffed?? I will update in here when I have done some more investigation to the motor tomorrow. This has certainly given me some things to look over though
  22. Thankyou, a compression test was one of the things I was considering
  23. I will add that this motor is an unknown quantity and yes maintenance has been severely lacking. It was not running when we got the car, I chucked some points into it and got it running for a few mins, and the smoke coming out was the first thing I noticed amongst alot of other things. It will be getting a big freshen up before we start driving it!!! I guess I just wanted to know if it was completely rooted before I go spending too much on new fluids, leads etc for it. This is a very budget build for my brother in law as he (and I it would seem) learns a bit more about cars.
  24. That sounds reasonable - I took the valve off and will get some brake cleaner tomorrow to clean it. It does look gummed up. I also suspect that this motor is rooted so would like to rule this out before I go to the effort of putting a new gearbox in. Thanks for the help - you're quite knowledgable on this stuff
  25. Hey I have this 4k and I need some help, where the blue breather thing is there was nothing originally. I put the blue breather thing on there. Is it supposed to be hooked up to somewhere on the carby because at the moment smoke comes out of it and I am sure it is not meant to. I will say though the motor hadn't been run in a very long time so maybe the smoking will stop. A pic for your info and some help
