Nah, from what I was told it was a long term build thing, there was a blue one that sat outside Boostworx for a while and I am assuming this is the same one. Noone would ever get anything done at Profix - ever

I went down the underpass last night in mine, but we're talking late, about 10:30 pm :)
  6. ^^^^ turn it up :P This car is better in Gav's hands than some pre-pubescent teen who will want to fewly sic drift it brew :)
  7. I test drove a Sportivo years ago when they were brand new, like a wet fart at anything below 6 grand, and then ZING :) Useless for driving around town if you ask me, by the time you hit 6 grand in first you were almost doing 60 so never really able to use the power :P

Yeah I saw you coming up in the side view mirror, so I waited, honked and waved and kept going :)
  9. Henry, It is a KE70 style, so the shifter is quite a bit further back towards the driver. I remember we spoke about this when I met you at a cruise. You will need to cut a hole in the floor and cover over the existing one if going to this style of box, however mine was covered up quite well and when I replace the carpet that will fix the hole left there (my carpet is in poor condition anyway). I find the shifter position to be easy for driving it, but then again I don't know any different as mine was never in the original spot when I got the car. I imagine the shifter being so far forward would be weird? The 5 speed does make it nice to drive though and can cruise at quite high speeds without a problem, not that I have a tacho :locked: I do wonder if the KE3x style shifter would come up in the original hole, my guess is no :n: Luke
  10. The weekend consists of 48 hours, so yes still unannounced... and anyway it won't be any vigilante styles thats not how I roll :locked:
  11. I'm dealing with mine on my own but yes I will send you some details. I live in the same state at least and I am going round to his on the weekend unannounced to have a 'chat' :locked:
  12. S13 = Independent Rear End So no, not unless you are very skilled or have lots of cash :locked:
  13. precisely :P Just because things are advertised on here for unrealistic prices doesn't mean they sell for that, and if they do then more fool the people who support these unrealistic prices :y:
  14. Just because something is on a forum does not make it worth the asking price... when are people going to work this out? You should buy it for a reasonable price and think of it this way - as long as it is not more than what it would sell for on here you won't lose money I guess :y:
  15. Well we all know that once it hits an enthusiast site or forum it is worth ten times more... I would have thought you would aim to buy something like that privately for around the $2K mark. What are they asking for it out of interest?
  16. Well the AP Racing Rims are 13 x 7 - 1 which means they will be less difficult to fit under the guards. Probably just need a stretch and roll. These need a stud pattern change though so will be a while yet sourcing some parts. The Superlights are 13 x 7 - 7, only 6mm difference you might say but a lot more work when you're looking at KE11 guards! As for the Hayashis, not really sure but I am going to whack them on the 11 for the remainder of summer as I am sick of the 12 inchers. My next project at home is building a shed, then the fun can start with the 11. Working under my gravel carport is crap :y:
  17. yes please more info required now :y:
  18. We had a baby about 8 weeks ago, no child restraint in the KE11 means not much driving lately on weekends. I have been driving it to and from work though :y: I have been over your way, but flying undercover of my fewly sick VZ Commodore :( :P Which reminds me I need some Southern Cross Stickers and Cop Rims for it and some baldies for the back :y:
  19. Mine will only be JDM tyte for special occasions, other times it is Nanna all the way :y:
  20. Shite - TE27 Flares are going to be necessary!! Good to see some KE's in Adelaide shying away from the Nanna mould though I love it :y:
  21. I have to get mine back on club reg, I was in a hurry to rego it after I bought it so put it on full reg. I will be driving it less than 90 days a year so it makes sense :y:

Bright orange sounds like Wol's, the guy I bought my KE11 from. I have seen it and it is pure porn!!! :y:
  23. People who sell you a car for wrecking, you organise to have it towed and then they organise for U Pull It to take it anyway. So money for car gone, money for tow fee given to person to pay tow person in my absence gone.... I'm royally f@$ked off!! I should have known better but there you go I got bent over good and proper :hmm:

Yeah Jay is making it look nice and the way it always should have been... Don't get me wrong I would have had it that way too but I wanted it to be streetable and in the 4 months I had it on the road the 5-0 never looked twice at it :hmm: That was one damn clean car to modify :(
  25. Me too :hmm: I'd be in on group buy :(
