  1. There is more to an AE71 than just the front, that front came on KE70 too. Unless I am completely blind there was a 4k residing in the bay so that makes it a KE70. If it was an AE71 I would have been on it like a fly to shit for the manual gear :) Anyway I took the fender mirrors so they are no longer there. I did notice it had a 5 speed in it though. Why would you bother ripping one out from there anyway with the price they charge for 5 speeds :S
  2. That was a KE70 and I took the mirrors. There were no AE71's at Lonsdale :S
  3. Well there was no KE20 :) Do you know what a KE20 looks like?? And no I didn't see this before I left so I didn't check if there were any RA40's. I think I saw one but I wouldn't make the truip if I was you based on my word. If you go there again and you do see this mystical KE20 can you let me know which row it is in as I looked up and down the Toyota row to no avail and even asked the guy at the counter and he said none were there. I doubt one was there a week ago either, cars don't move that quick around there :S
  4. :S Cheers mate we will go suss it out
  5. Hi I wondered if anyone in SA was wrecking a KE20? Or if you know where a wrecker is that has one. I am helping my brother in law get his running Luke
  6. so... I would love for your KE10 and my KE11 to get together and make KE1X babies... Only problem being if yours is a girl too? Though I wouldn't say no to watching some girl on girl action ;) :lolcry:
  7. I'd buy one if they were say sub $200 each casted ;)
  8. The KE70 shifter doesn't interfere with the handbrake, though it can get in the way if you have long legs like mine and use the original steering wheel. This mainly happens when in fifth. It's purely a preference thing, and I LOVE my original steering wheel so i put up with it :)
  9. I have a 5 speed out of a KE70 in mine, the only modification needed is the hole in the floor cut further back towards the driver. From what I have heard, the KE3x - 5x style even in 5 speed still don't fit the original floor hole. If you are going to all the trouble of making this work I suggest you get a KE70 style, as it puts the shifter in a better position for driving too. Clutch and pressure plate are the same for 4 and 5 speed. As for the tailshaft and crossmember woes, I am guessing like all Rollas there is a difference between manual and auto unfortunately :)
  10. Luc said something about next week when they have some more stuff sorted. I hope to get it in there before the rego runs out though but will see what happens. I am just going to store it while I collect some parts and then have to come down and do some work on it. Sounds like it is going to be a fun "joint" I will have to come down once in a while and help out with some of the cars. :)
  11. Yep :)
  12. FOUND :)
  13. I knew there was something I forgot to add, no I will not be leaving the keys with it  Nick, I will let you drive it anytime, if I happen to be over your way and you are home that is :y:
  14. FOUND
  15. That is supreme
  16. If there is any room in that shed to store my 11 let me know, happy to contribute $$$$$$$
  17. If you need a fairly overrated KE30 rear bumper I have one at my place  Looking good Luc
  18. I think it's a parenting thing, they feel they have the right to bitch and whine about shit around their place. I am going to do my best not to be like that as a father, rather embrace their hobbies but giving them some boundaries etc in regards to how to use things like sheds etc
  19. Yeah its like an olive green, maybe a shade darker.... and will have the streets on which do fill the guards nice without overdoing it
  20. Hope you like army green colour then coz that is what it will be painted  Silver highlights for all the trim work and the dark green with the streets should look wicked ;)
  21. Some pics I had to move the fleet out for Christmas Eve so took some pics while I was at it (that is my brother in laws 20 you can see in the background) Now for the rims Havent even had a real chance to sus the AP's out yet, too busy with Christmas stuff!!! And a random pic of my little girl with her presents from Christmas, she got spoilt just a bit from all the relatives
  22. As far as I know they are the same. I know you can put them in wrong which makes it not work right, check to see if you have done that first
  23. Christmas came early for me this year.... I arrived home yesterday to a courier van out the front delivering my Hayashi Streets, then I went to the post box and there was a parcel for me, my AP Racing Rims. Absolutely pumped, I will get some pics later
  24. Well I really want one for a 10 too, but was willing to take one for a 20 as a trade off and try and make it work. If you are keen as there is two of us perhaps we can discuss further. I know for a fact that people really need some sort of other options for 10's and 11's so
  25. I'm interested in anything KE20 really and definitely willing to pay good money for things. Especially interested in the rack and pinion conversion
