  1. Valandor I did say good on you guys for putting in a showing for Rollaclub ;) I have entered many a car show before and understand the time and effort involved  So what, I didn't like the show  Are you saying it was an impressive effort on the part of the organisers to attract 30 cars :) In saying I thought it failed I was having more of a go at the lack of cars rather than the quality but take it how you will I don't mind :laff: You need to take a chill pill
  2. I'll be sure to PM when there is some progress and I'll chuck a pic or two in the KE2x members rides thread. I don't want to start a rides thread because I really don't want opinions on what I have done ;) I do my cars for me by me :)
  3. It's all good Will  Just tired of how many people have told me I should have kept the 11 :) The 20 is not as overrated as the 11 I am the first to admit that but in that way I don't mind modifying it ;)
  4. The show FAILED. Seriously can't believe I dragged myself down there to see what 30 cars. :) I saw a better Toyota parked in a carpark on my way home, Henry's KE11 :laff: :laff: :laff: :laff: I could have saved myself the trip if I had seen that first  Good on you guys for putting in a showing for Rollaclub ;) How good was that RA28?? OMG  :laff:
  5. I had whitewalls on my 71 for something different  Really if you look back over pictures and brochures etc the only Corollas that had whitewalls were KE1x's, none others ;) Happy for someone to prove me wrong though :)
  6. I'm with Red on the Commodore. I picked up a VZ Commodore for $8K with 80K on the clock, yeah it as no style, yeah my wife hates it, yeah it goes through a bit of juice, but it does the daily grind with the stuff for the kid well etc and I don't get looked at twice in it. Except for when I am in Elizabeth and every second person wants me to rip a fully sick skid :) *for those who don't know Elizabeth is the home of the Holden Plant, where almost everyone has a Commodore which is 25 years old clapped out and wants to do skids in it ;) :laff:
  7. Do you need XT130 twin piston calipers?? I have some here I 'bought' from U Pull It You can have them for the grand sum of free :)
  8. I'm not bitchy Will, you made a stab at me (and my choice in cars) so I made one back simple as that. And wow, you had a go at my age.... ;) At this point I will just repeat what someone else said on another forum, it's my money and my cars :) My new car won't be getting a rides thread
  9. Good work on finding a cheap tray truck tow :hmm: I have found a guy who does my tows for $80 every time, as long as I work in with him. If I added the cost of a trailer, petrol and the associated hassle of using a trailer the $80 is so so sweet. :y:

    Spotted

So I pulled up in the driveway at my missus parents house only to see a sweet yellow KE11 across the road with a very happy Nick standing in front of it :y: Love it Nick at least I know I will still see it and it's in good hands :hmm:
  11. Oh well at least I can say I have owned an 11, have you :hmm:
  12. I have heard you can use Boge Turbo's which are for AE86 rear :hmm: I think Nickyboy used them in his 20
  13. I still have my washing machine I got from a 'non-complete human' that was free because she thought it better to update than repair. 5 minutes spent removing coins from the pump and 10 years later still banging on :) :fuzz: :y: :abuse:
  14. You need to think quicker on your feet with a comeback. My missus had a go at me the other day about my car and parts 'collection' to which I replied "well we have a massive walk-in wardrobe of which you take up 90%, how about getting rid of some clothes" She quietly walked back inside and hasn't mentioned it since :) :fuzz: :y:
  15. I saw someone use the slide mechanism from a KE20 on a KE30 which looked neat. If you want one I have one here /shameless free plug :)
  16. Thanks Brenton I was lucky, everything fell into place and I won her on Ebay. She needs a little TLC but a good original vehicle :)
  17. Hai guys :) :fuzz:
  18. Button on the steering column is the horn Other switch is a kill switch which should normally be tucked back under the dash there.
  19. I found some JDM Tyte condoms under the back seat of the Chaser when I removed it to change shocks. Still in their packets kids :) Oh and the original roadside flare for emergency situations. I never did have the nuts to try and see if it worked. The instructions were a little hard to read being Japanese and all :fuzz: :y: :abuse: :abuse:
  20. Well big change of plans for me this week, I sold one Rolla and bought another. I will have to enter on the day as I will be busy with the car until the day :)
  21. Well yes it was delivered to Nickyboy's house tonight!! The old girl was giving me a bit of curry on the way there I think it was her way of telling me I shouldn't part ways!!! Nick it should just be the idle and maybe a bit of timing adjustment. I feel bad about it so let me know if you need any help or whatever. It was her first real drive in probably two months. Oh and guys, my new ride will be saying hello in a few days when I pick her up :)
  22. Brenton you're kidding me.... I was cruising along the freeway doing 90 MILE an hour in my 11. Sorry Nick :) As for my 20V AE71, I won't post up the speed :fuzz:
  23. Gav stop it, just stop it's not fair :fuzz: Love your work :)
  24. Tom, they think that their car (and wallet for that matter) can withstand daily use at the track. Probably couldn't be more wrong Fact remains for most normal people, once a month would be pushing it with the amount of funds and car preparation required for each visit :)
  25. Oi Ryan pick up that bonnet farkin the guy is hassling me :)
