think it depends where the business is to, i worked out in the stix and the pay was lower then workin at places near the city. but as said some bosses are just stingey bastards who couldnt care less unfortunately.

just did benny20s ke55 coupe and ended up cuttin out a massive hole for the solenoid to fit into and the rod runs on a wierd angle. fitting up my pano was a piece of cake though. just make sure ya put it somewhere the door card wont rub on the rod or it'll start lockin and unlockin itself. and i just taped the wires up and ran the out between the doorcard and the door and round into the kickpanel, been like that for a year now and still no probs.

well the work is starting again on the pano again since bennys ke55 coupe is pretty much done now, so put a 5 speed in today (bit of an effort by yourself on the ground i must add), got a head and cam at work waiting to go to the machine shop, got an a/c system to, just rebuilding the compressor atm then makin new hoses and redoin the tx valve and stuff (on the cheap, gotta love havin a old man that does it for a livin) so it should be like a fridge inside soon. also got a fixed back bucket seat for it and a spare set of seats so i can butcher the rails on them to put it in. picked up a new diff centre and got it locked during the week, will be getting installed on monday at work (over workin on the floor, especially when i can do it on a hoist). Will also be pulling the leaves out some time in the next month or so to get them reset as the blocks are really annoying me now. Also plan on redoin the front end to, the sigma arms really need some good struts above them to make them worth it, so will prob venture down to fulcrum and organise a adjustable coil-over setup and adjustable strut tops. then i should be happy for abit.

i'll be there in the pano (now with 5 speed :) ), just a shame benny has to work.

i'd had to think how much fuel has been put into that car, even if its a rolla thats still gonna be freakin heaps.

havin so many jobs to do at work it not funny and the other guy i work with is standing round doin nothing cause he isn't able to do any of them cause he isn't a mechanic!!! but my boss won't fire him cause he his father in law. argh, i over it so bad. just want someone else workin in the workshop that knows what they is doin and can do some of the shit like heads engine and gearboxs and diagnosis stuff aswell, not just do basic services. ARGH!!!!!! i gonna join the army now i think?

can't wait for this, oh and jip bennys been stoppin in to see ya with the 55, he wants to show ya it and i think he wants some stickerage for the beast. will have a 5 speed, a/c and bucket seat in the 70 for the cruise to hopefully :wub:

me and benny got a '55 coupe from out near kalbar with bout 655000 on the clock, have the odometer in the shed still i think. will take pic tomorrow night if i can find it. also purchased a hiace of my dads work when i was an apprentice that had bout 780000 when i sold it for parts, still drove better then my ea with only 120000 on the clock.

i'm coming in the pano, i'm sure benny will come in the 55 aswell

i did this to my pano not long ago. not sure what model they were out of but the camber is stupid, if i do this again to my next 70 will just go rona lca's. haven't had a wheel alignment yet (done bout 10,000ks since putting them in to :) ) and most people that see it say it looks about 4 maybe 5 degrees. oh and the cops have told me a few times they only pulled me over cause they thought my wheels were gonna fall off lol.

when i worked at ford a mate pulled the spare out of an au, found a black rubbish bag under it and thought hmmm what's he hideing :yes: found a couple vibrators (looked very used lol) and some nasty old porno's. was real nasty cause it was a guy's car :wink: oh and had the cops leave there riot gear in the boot once, so much fun running round the workshop bashin each other up. also found guns, knives, drugs, lots of money, gotta love looking in ppls cars cause they don't think to remove stuff when they bring them in.

55 is done so we be rockin up in that as ben has my 70 for the week.

Here is ben and my little fun project, its a 55 coupe that we straightened and painted. will be rego'd on monday for ben as he just sold the 20. was a country car that had many accidents, so is still abit rough but we aren't panel beaters or painters. will remain stock other the ride height (needs to sit so much lower).
