I'm so mad that none of the commercial stations could be bothered broadcasting it live. We totally missed out on it. 20 years ago every station (just about - think we only had 3) broadcast it live, for 12 hours straight. I remember it. At least we were part of it then. This time we missed out, and for what? Some tennis crap?? There werent even any Australians playing! It's totally shameful, and the moneygrubbing brown-nosing bureaucrats who run the media missed the whole point of the event. :P Poo to them with knobs on! -end of rant-

We got there about lunchtime, and a lot of cars were already heading off, but we still saw some very nice autos (as you can see from the pics). A couple of entrants were recognised from the All Toyota Day. Not a lot of toyota entries there tho that I saw. I think next year's would benefit from a Rollaclub showing.. :D

I recommend Springbrook, just outside Brisbane (about two hours southish), on the border with NSW in the gold coast hinterland. Far enough from civilisation, but not so far it takes forever to get there or back. We went there last year for a couple of nights... and... well. Yeh. Very popular with honeymooners, we were told.

That says more about you than about anyone else :P

I like how you all just assume that all of these pictures involve women drivers. I mean the one with the bike helmet is funny, sure. Prolly someone's idea of a practical joke (hers most likely). It's just as likely to have all been men operating those vehicles. So nyer :P
