The Ke20-Ae71 Corolla's are one of the most Reliable cars in the World. Sure, they don't have a Driver's Airbag, Traction Control or Stability Management, but that Newspaper Article has "Absolute Crap" written all over it. My Dad has had Ke20's, a Ke26, a Ke36, and Ke70's previously, and has not once Crashed or Written-off either of them. It pretty much comes down to what type of Driver you are.

Now that Ke38 is a Good Example of a V8 Corolla Wagon. The photo is from the June 2008 Extreme Street Cars Issue. The colour is Glasurit Forrid Green, according to the SM September 2009 Issue. In the September 2009 "Blown & Turbo Special" Street Machine Issue, he says that he had to recess the Transmission Tunnel by 80mm, Modify a Set of HSV Extractors, and fit HQ Engine Mounts for the VT Roller Block and the TCI Trimatic. He also uses a Shortened Borg-Warner Diff with 4.11s and a Full Spool. Josh :P

My dad had one of these things with a 307 Chev + Powerglide. He said to me that it ran like "S**t out of Shanghai". :) He told me that it used to "Get up and Boogie" and lined up all those Peanuts in V8 Commodores. It was an absolute sleeper, and people didn't suspect that it had a rumpin' V8 under the bonnet. It was Registered as well. Hope this helps with ideas... Josh :S

You could do a Ute Conversion and drop in a 1JZ... :)

Take a trip to Heathcote in Northern Victoria, and you'll then have yourselves a Track to race on.. :S I would like to see more Vids of this Beast.. :)

Thanks Vince. The 7K has more Torque and that Oomph that I really want, but 5K would be really cool as well, especially with EFI. It's pretty much whichever Motor we get hold of first out of the two. It is a Big Milestone for Me and Dad, considering we've had Ollie on our Block of Land for over 15 months now. But yeah, there still is more to be done, such as the Engine Conversion, and the Interior. Josh :)

Well... - Fix or Replace the Gearbox Mount. - Get a New Muffler. - Get some Door/Boot Weather Trims. - Spray some WD40 (RP7) on the Door Hinges. - Tighten up the Console. - Replace the Coolant Hose. Do all of those, then you'll have yourself a RWC K-fidy-5.

I still can't get a Grin off my face. :blinks: Si (Taz_rx) told us on our Wanted Ad that the 5K didn't come with EFI, and the 4K-E was Crap and Expensive and not really worth it, so we're trying to Track down a KR42R Townace that's being Dismantled/Wrecked and grab the 7K-E out of that. But, if we get ourselves a 5K, we'll probably go for Top-Mount Twin Carbys, or do an EFI Conversion from a 7K to a 5K. Josh :hmm:
