  1. Bit of a noob question here but what are the dog tags on the aisan carbs for? Can they be used to find out what k motor they are from? I understand that the less carbon emmission stuff means the older the carb.
  2. Where are u located, I know of a free 4k
  3. Yeh we tried to get it going, it was firing but not pulling fuel. Probably for the best as it was seriously seriously seriously rusted!! when you touched, bumped, opened anything it would sound like it was raining. Turned out to have a 4k with the welsh plugs sorted (the only possitive) and looks to be a half decent resurrection. Below is the next back yard pick a part horror show. Also 4k 170... kms auto and 3/4 in the grave.

  10. Hey Gavclassic what are you stressing about mate this is the best $437 with change in the ash tray I have spent. Sure its had a couple of dings and has a bit of rust here and there but one day this old piece of crap will turn heads and be our beach cruiser. I wish I had a grand to spend mate. For me dedication to restoration has a rewarding nature which out ways the costs involved. Peace

  13. Hey There, I have just purchased a sweet 2000 ultima and would love to know about some intake options that people know of, I am going to upgrade the intake and exhaust first then look at suspension and the list goes on. Would any one be able to explain the intake set up of this pic I found wih a 7afe with trumpets? It looks tuff as! Would this engine fit in my car with this set up or would the air filters be facing the back and all squashed up? As in what I would need to modify my current set up to get this under my hood. At the momment it is a stock 1.8 efi 7afe Cheers
