    The msd is an electronic ignition system. I haven't had much to do with them I'm sure there would be someone on here that could explain how exactly they work. In my honest opinion mate I think you did fairly well. I know the twin sidies can go for upwards of $400-$500 new without mounting gear, correct me if I'm wrong?

    Lol no fly haven't even gotten it home yet. Damn I'm slack.....unfortunately the cressy has a blown head gasket so its not going anywhere thus no car to tow it with.

    Plan to once the head is out dude, hopefully getting it out tonight and getting it ready to send to machinist tomorrow. Anyone done of these before, and any tips or hints?

    well she has lasted this long :D until not long ago when it started running on 5 cyl and sucking the water down like a sieve. in the process of replacing hg and head studs so will post some pics of progress

    WGMG having to do a bloody head gasket on the 7m myself cause 6-7+ hours of labour for a mechanic is a bit out of my price range......on the other hand i suppose will be a new experience.....even its one you would rather forget :D

    Just need to do a head count also of how many people want to stay on the saturday night? Just organising meals and room for peeps to crash.

    anyone that doesnt have anything ie car/tent/swag to sleep in, we have an office building that can fit probably up to 4 people, and whatever floorspace inside (possibly near the wood fire :D). i want to get as much scrub bashing time in as i can, so saturday up till dark is bashing time and all of sunday if you are keen :)
