  1. Cool I'm getting them
  2. Ok so these are the wheels... any idea what they are off?
  3. Hey guys I have found a set of genuine Toyota 14 inch alloy wheels sitting at the local scrapyard, but I'm not sure what they are from? They have the big plastic center with the exposed wheel nuts similar to a tarago wheel....but it has a mesh style spoke? I will take a photo to show you, and see if anyone can shed some light?
  4. The closest to this I have seen is group n historic racing. Cars in this category include Mazda r100, rx2, ke20, ke17, xu1 torana, escorts. Basically you can race anything from late 1960's to 1972 from memory. And the cars are restricted to what they would have had to work with back in that era.
  5. I had ke30 wagon ones in my rt118, I still have the ccomplete corona ones around here somewhere whether they are shorter or longer I couldn't tell you. They are yours if they are any use to you
  6. Where are all these tidy little 20's coming from? Looks like a great base to start with mate keep us posted :)
  7. That sounds like a good start to me. Also have to thank the previous owners for gluing a piece of carpet to the dashboard :/
  8. Yay someone got a photo of the good side of my car....well sort of anyway :)
  9. Looking forward to getting this home and start fiddling. Not sure where to start on it though
  10. It has actually been pretty good on fuel. But I will check itout ttomorrow night when I do the plugs and points
  11. :( I hate trying to find vacuum leaks
  12. Reed doesn't drink anymore so he would stay there until fixed or molotovs
  13. When you first start it and run it it idles well. Once it has warmed up a bit it sounds like it has a really lumpy cam
  14. Ok guys as promised and very overdue.....here she is. Not much to look at at the moment but i will get there eventually
  15. No it doesn't lose power or die at all. I have noticed occasionally when I go to take off and it splutters a bit Like it's copping too much fuel. I'm going to a mate's place tomorrow night for new plugs/points/service, so I will run over the timing and make sure it's all sweet
  16. Hey guys and gals I have recently gotten my ke70 registered, and I have noticed when out on the highway it tends to 'hunt' a bit once the speed levels out. Any clues as to why it could be doing this?
  17. Sure do Dave I work at Bridgestone in Warwick
  18. Wgmg getting to work thismorning only to see a line up of semi trailers waiting for tyres :/
  19. The face of the wheel looks to be machined too which would make it harder to replicate the same look where it is scuffed. Also the fact that the face is clear coated. Unless you get them professionally repaired, or you are really handy with this kind of stuff it will be very hard to get them to look like new. One other thought, might be a bit wild but if you taped up the black paint and painted the face silver, or whatever colour you want I guess
  20. Last time I went was 2011, they didn't have the tent or flags then would love to see them this year
  21. Also is there anything else we need to bring? I'm packing an esky with some soft drink and sangas, or are we going to set up a bbq?
  22. Ooh me likey good work Chris. Got some cool ideas for the polos so will have to share with you on ajd
  23. Hmm I could go through Toowoomba which would be longer, or if I'm desperate I could go through the tiviot through boonah. .... I shall find a way
  24. But of course it didn't upload so I will try and get a vid up soon
