  1. Just checked 'the good book' and all crowns were 5x114.3. The other way to check the pcd os flip the rim over and using a accurate ruler or measuring calipers measure rhe distance from the center of one stud hole to a stud hole on the opposite side.......at least i think thats right?
  2. From what i know they are 5x114.3 to be exact which is the same as ford/mitsubishi. I would maybe take one of the wheels to a tyre shop and get them to put a pcd gauge on them and make sure they are even the right stud pattern as the seller said they were
  3. Suprised you havent gone to one of these yet zow :)
  4. I will hopefully be joining in the liberty club soon too :) except mine will me making whoosh sounds when revs applied ;)
  5. From the way it kicks up at one end has me thinking it may be a cover from the chassis? Possibly a fuel line or brake line cover?
  6. Soo much want to run this guy over so he can never do this to another mazda..........everrrrr
  7. :( was looking forward to seeing a snorkel on a ke10......far from disappointed though this thing looks amazing :)
  8. don't worry buz if i ever want a rotary i only have to drive up the road. My local mechanic is a bit of a mazda nut
  9. Pretty much milkshakes yeah. This motor is going to need a lot of work to get going again. Finding the time to spend on it is a struggle too but I'm slowly getting there. Does anyone know where to get a full window rubber kit for these?
  10. Any thoughts on how to mount it? Or just screw it in?
  11. So i thought i had better update this thread :( the 5k is full of water and has been for some time, hence alot of the internals are a bit rusty :( don't know whether to spend the money and rebuild it or just use the old 4k i have which should only need a vrs kit through it
  12. I usually try to organise it around my bday because i have an excuse to get drunk and do stuff i want to do :) but winter here means night time it drops below 0ยบ. But I'm easy either way, so i might organise it for sometime in august so it shouldnt be as cold. I can get a campsite set up and get as many cars as i can running. I havent been scrub bashing in ages so i am mad keen
  13. No one seems to like winter weather down here so hoping to plan it either before or after winter, depending on everyones schedules. I don't mind winter just means we can build a bigger fire :)
  14. Wgmg being short staffed at work thus had to go out to a farm and change a full set of tractor tyres myself.....so broken :/
  15. The two best jacks that i have worked with are magic lift and liftech. Have used these at all the tyre shops i have worked at. Liftech ones seem to be able to hold the heavier loads better, the ones at our shop now have been there since they opened 7 years ago :)
  16. Hey guys have been thinking a lot about organising another scrub bashing weekend. Just interested to see what everyones thoughts/opinions are on the topic, and when would be a good time during the year? Preferrably a weekend that isnt raining :)
  17. I got a galaxy s4 or whatever the late one is. Its good all round. I got a case called an otter box much like the heavy duty ones for iphone with rubber outer and anplastic screen cover. Have dropped it a few times holds up really well
  18. Not that kind of lube reed :) you wouldnt want this stuff anywhere near little tommy. A good friend of mine actually buy their tyres in bulk from china and have their own mobile fitting business. I just don't know if i want to do something different.....tyres get a bit boring after a while
  19. Well i am married with 2 kids so i didnt really want to be away for weeks at a time. And the tyre fitting jobs at the mines would be great but it costs about 5 grand just for the courses and tickets :(
  20. Hey there guys and gals.i have been a tyre fitter since i left school in 2006, and i just kinda feel like I'm not going anywhere with it? I have been thinking about getting into something different, but there arent many choices out in these country towns. Has anyone else been through this stage? Not quite sure what to do :/
  21. Good to see another rc member with a ke70 hitting he streets :) looks like a solid starting block too. There are a few places you can find quad headlight conversions. Occasionally they pop up in the parts for sale section in here, you can also try eBay. If you are on facebook add these two guys 'Kay parts' and 'Mohan garage'. They are both from Malaysia and are always selling dx parts :)
  22. Ergh so it looks like head gasket time for the ksev. Overheated just driving from downtown to our place not even 5 minutes down the road :(
  23. sure are a few ke20s about. occasionally see one or two out at our local. track. if you know of anyone that has a ke17 that would be good for track use let me know as a good friend of mine really wants one to set up as a group n car.
