love the southern and lemonade. liquid panty remover :bash: can't stand captain morgan, well, not the one i tried, tasted very cheap and nasty, but jim tastes cheap and nasty to me too. -
the vans are lighter. mine weighs in at 980 with me in it and a full tank of fuel, so thats gonna be 870 without fuel or passenger, not to mention a 20 kg tool kit, so 850. thats alot less than a sedan. although this panelvan doesnt have a spare on it, but 13's weigh fark all anyway.
-
it does work, check out 6boost's 1g. but thats purpose built drag. doesnt make any power til 5500. and if it were me, id be buying something like HKS or whoever else cams for these motors, all the regrind places, i wouldnt trust them to have done their research... cheers, andrew

well no, not yet.... but if i had my way.... just seems wasteful i used to run 95 in my old shitter, then i wound some advance out of it and went back to 91 and the difference was negigible. the van i have now shits all over that car for power and economy it seems, and its had nothing done to it.
-
but why? its a 4k and doesnt have particularly high compression or advance levels does it?
-
wow, your quick jon :) i found out diesel was running low sunday last week :y: anyway, if you talk to people in the know, theres *** heaps sitting in tanks where it gets pumped out of the carrier ships, they just gotta process it, and it seems caltex is having issues processing, but up here, theres only one refinery, BP, then they sell it to the others who process it, so i don't think BP is gonna have an issue with running out of fuel. could be wrong though, and why does your car need premium anyway jon?
-
160K clear profit? you must be selling very cheap things very expensively :)

How Do You Get Ke70 Calipers And Brake Hoses Off?

and in australia cars produced here must use a certain amount of australian produced things -
lol, gateway merges kick ass...or not and i can't wait til they get the gateway flowing better, do they not see the issue they are gonna have when it merges with the pac highway? other good one is logan motor -> ipswich motorway, how long does it take to f@$kin get that right? been what, over a year? and theres essentially darn all been done...
-
radelaide isnt growing, people are leaving in droves :) but don't worry, its the same everywhere. the logan motorway upgrade up here is what got me, the motorway is always congested as darn, so they spent 4 months resurfacing 2 lanes, not making it wider, even though theres plenty of room, no no, they replace guardrails and nature and put down nice looking pebbles, and resurface and new lights and all this and all that, and you think to yourself, that money could have been spent doing something that will make it work better you idiots. but ahh, who are we to throw logic on their wonderful plans :y:
-
how are they remodelling them? arnt they all straight and square corners?
-
lol, tell us more  I'm having fun with them myself trying to apply for specific mods, things that arnt listed under the normal mod plating rules, and my god, its just ridiculous
-
whats with them stupid L/P plate speed restrictions? surely it would make sense for them to have experience driving under normal conditions, just seems weird to me. and on the note of daylight savings, jon, we're not being sheep, its used around half the world, because it works for that half of the world. there are areas where it doesnt work so well, like north qld etc, but this far south it does and would be very beneficial. sunrise was at 4.45 this morning, not many people need light at that time, but sunset was around 645 i think, plenty of people could have got more done if they had that extra hour in the afternoon to play with...
-
yes i do. i was still busy at 8 everyday this week and would have been very happy if id had an hour or two of extra light. why does it bother you if it gets changed? coz your too lazy to reset some clocks? at least when you try and contact a NSW business after work they would still be bloody open.
-
mate do you start at 6/630 in the morning in the winter? i do, and its only JUST getting light, we wouldnt be able to start til 7 in the morning in winter which would just be crap. i understand where you r coming from with the daylight so late into the day that its bed time and the suns still out, my parents are from the UK and they got used to it still be light at 10/11 at night. but they also got used to going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark in winter. up here, latest sun is up is 730 then its dark as, i don't see the issue with having light til 830, at least the start of the day for tradies is a bit cooler and the sun isnt high in the sky...
-
bring it on, it doesnt work so far up north, but it would be good down this way of qld, at least give an hour of cool weather to start in, and hey, i wouldnt be working under lights right now if we had it would i.... whats the issue with it?

love ke70 replied to eiriksmil's topic in KExx Corolla Discussion
unless someone has really f@$ked it up, theres no reason to undo the brake line to remove the caliper. with the clip thats been put on the hard way, get a longish flat screw driver, and hook it around the clip and lever it against the strut, or the little holder thingy on the strut. so your just levering it off, rather than pushing it off, i think that will make sense when you look at it? and as other people said, you need to under it at the solid point first, as that part rotates around the hard line, so nothing gets all twizzled up maybe give us a pic to see how f@$ked someone has made it to not be able to get to the bolt haha :D cheers, andrew -
Ae71 & Ke70 Steering Column To Rack
love ke70 replied to Rola Drifter's topic in Automotive Discussion
and thats the issue with people like you, if you are only taking a stab in the dark, don't bother posting. no, both rack and pinion, TE7x is recirculating ball/draglink setup, whatever you want to call it. something about the T series engine i think, as its similar in a few cars. the wagons have recirculating turd, but arnt too hard to convert to rack and pinion -
get remote kits off ebay for 50 bucks, just as good as any other system you will buy instore, but save yourself paying 200 for a remote system from superthief etc

try driving a single cab ute where your seat is hard against the rear wall, you have to set your mirrors like this, if not merging is pot luck. if you need to see the car, lean over a bit, or move the mirror in a bit, but if you need to know if something is in that blind spot, which on my ute is from directly behind me to directly beside me, then i need the mirrors set like that. i don't even bother shoulder checking anymore, as all i will see is pillar. try setting it up like this, and just leaning over to see the car when reversing, and i think you will come to enjoy it.

towe, most employment agencies up here will put you through your ticket course if you need it, dunno about centrelink or whoever though. and ben, is 8KVA enough to run a house? probably would be, the amount of gear we run off a 2kva on a jobsite is ridiculous :no2: split the cost with ur brother and don't look back haha
