  1. you didnt unwrap the ones in your celica :|
  2. great for corrosion too...
  3. look at the two blocks side by side, one has ribs running from the welsh plugs up to the deck, the other has those ribs, plus ribs between the welsh plugs...
  4. http://s29.photobucket.com/albums/c292/arowland2/rust/ that probably shows most of the common rust areas, basically, under the chrome, and anywhere from the centre line of the car back is a rust hot spot :lolcry:
  5. the body needs to sit over those rims, not above it, doesnt do it for me how it is
  6. track racers wouldnt run a rim that wide, or with that much offset, the load on the bearings would be insane, and the width of the rim/tyre, you would need a very heavy car to get enough weight on it to get any advantage, on a light car they would slow you down due to the massive amount of extra weight in the rubber, and on top of that, a tyre that wide on a light car can cause it to actually have less traction as there isnt enough weight across the area of it to get any force to the ground, would almost drive on water :P
  7. i hope that was sarcasm, the only good thing on that car is the rims. and as was stated before, you can get them in pink or gold, so it doesnt have to be pink, but i think the pink looks good, not gay :)
  8. yeah, poor fellow can't win, and he wasnt really asking a question anyway, so leave him alone :) how did it go mate, any joy yet? :P
  9. yes, everybody wants there 14 foot jap rims.... try the inch symbol next time 14"
  10. yeah, logic would prevail and you would chase the wires in a common case of wtf is this, probably would ahve taken less time than taking pictures and posting this thread :) happy wire chasing :P
  11. these things kick arse, but the current conversion rate is very prohibitive :)
  12. nah, schools worth it, when i finished, walked out with an OP2 and could do any uni course i wanted, get basically any job i wanted, and ended up spending a year kicking back doing enough to pay the bills and that was all. ended up doing carpentry and am loving it, so while i could have done that without even finishing school, the opportunities presented to you are worth sticking it out and doing your best :D
  13. put an oil pressure gauge on it, I'm guessing its got bugger all oil pressure and its starting to create large dramas. how olds the oil and how much oil has it got?
  14. i like the music, 15 y/o skinny idiots fighting is always fun for everyone. wgmgs, nightclubs and further more, working in the rain :bash: nothing worse than workin in wet boots and wet socks, and having water dripping down your arse crack.
  15. I'm with lexxi on this and ive never met nor had a conversation with her. lukeAE71, you told lexxi to grow up, and then followed that with two sensationaly immature and crap posts, let he without sin cast the first stone... LRS, the body makes any number of chemicals that effect how our brain works...its how our brain works, its a personal choice whether someone wants to add to that from an external source, or if they wish to leave it to its own devices. you can't say that because its found naturally in the body its right to add more. i can't believe how fast people were to condemn the statements lexxi made about her beliefs, only to come crashing down on her with their own beliefs. I'm impressed by straight edge people, and some of the ones ive met are the MOST out there, fun loving, bubbly exciting people you will meet, and i think ahh, if only i could be so fun sober. it takes alot to do it i believe, especially at school going age while remaining popular, so well done to them. now its time for another rum, my head hurts :bash:
  16. ssoorrryyy i didnt make it, got a call from the sister during the day, can you come over, nothing major, just a quick job, its gone from that to a two week job now, so i was all caught up doing that. sorry again, cheers, andy
  17. http://www.seatbeltsolutions.com.au/index.asp best mob i found, couple of the ke70s ive had look like theyve had entire replacement items, retractors and all, but i don't think the ke10 runs a retractor? so the rewebbing is a very good option in your case  edit: http://www.hemco.com.au/seatbelts.html those guys look alright too
  18. wasnt being agressive, its just my vocabularly when I'm making a point. the issue is, theres now three threads for posts to be spread across, making future searching harder. its 3x the work for moderators. when you look at the home page, there are 3 threads with the same title, which pushes other threads off with no need etc. just put it in general, or take a pick of where you want to put it, coz they all come up on the home page, and stick with that. the other two will probably be deleted when the fairies do their work. why does your aligner have specs only to a ke30? maybe run down to bobbies or somewhere, and ask for the standard specs, they should give them to you if you know what your talking about.. i would be interested to see standard anyway, id say mine is close :)
  19. looks like too much corolla man love in that pic for my liking whoever owns it :)
  20. mate, keep it to one f@$king thread next time. when i got mine done toe = LH = -0.3mm RH = -0.2mm camber = LH +1.06* RH = +1.42* this can't be changed without adding tops or changing components and as such i had to deal with destroying outside edges of tyres as a factory wonderous benefit... castor = LH = +2.30 * RH = +2.47* that was on a standard ke70, new front tyres, set up by bob to the jane t-marts handled well, was nice in tyres, positive camber made it a little exciting in the wet, and the tyres wernt the best for wet weather. especially not the 15 year old remingtons on the rear :) once you found some front end grip it was fun. hope this helps, and hope you can contain yourself to making one thread about one topic next time. cheers, andy
  21. hes a good writer, little technical info but a fun read :) makes me gonna miss my old beater, but shes gonna be shiny and schmick this time around, racing will still be just as fun
  22. are you straight edge coz its cool and non-conformist, or because you believe in it? i don't think people making funny posts about getting drunk is a sign of maturity or not, plenty of mature people drink too much, and alot of immature people don't drink because theyre too mature for that and don't need it, but then act like the most immature of the bunch. not saying this is how it is with you, or stereotyping or any other such political correctness i need to save myself from, I'm just wondering why you judge people for making jokes about "goin an gettin f@$ked up" so to speak.
  23. amen, can't believe the shit these bastards do...
  24. that works getting it out, but if its hard to get back in you may still need to unwind it. bearing puller works well on the balljoints as hitting them with a hammer can damage the thread, even with the nut on, as they are a fine pitch you can crush the threads, or just destroy the top of the castelated nut. hows progress anyway?
  25. adjustables shit all over any of those items :) found a very nice looking set designed for ae86 and ke70 rally cars, just gotta try find them again :P
