so how did u know it was a ke30 anyway? i just assumed it was coil sprung coz all my cars are, but when u said 30 i realised it probably was leaf sprung and i shouldnt be spouting advice as I'm no help at all

if its a ke30 sisnt it leaf sprung and doesnt that mean it doesnt have a panhard? or am i mis-informed?

is it lowered? the rear geometry creates a triangle, when u lower it, the panhard, which forms the long side of the triangle pushes the diff further across because there is less angle, it should only be a few mm on the rolla though...

just put the a12 from the 1200 ute in it, or the a14, theyre tough motors, just as good as the k motor.

custom sump, keep the steering on the rear of the crossmember. imagine the angles you will need to run a steering arm out to the far side of the crossmember, i think the knuckles would bind... not to mention all the other problems

is in queensland at the moment. under the new NCOP it wont be fullstop, hence the push to get my car done :party: not sure if nsw is under NCOP yet? its hard to find a good engineer took me over a year try the expensive proper rod shops around the traps, they usually know a good engineer, or just don't engineer theyre cars, but thats the difference between a good and a bad rod shop..

it will drone and sound like a homo excel/lancer. don't do it. nor should you put a cannon on your car :bash: it would sound tough until you put a carby and a big cam and a set of extractors and a well designed system. all of which will cost you money and is really a waste of money, coz it will still be slow as a wet week...

do you find you drive faster or slower than everyone else when your doing 100ish on the highway? if it was an auto, it would have had longer diff gears wouldnt it? 3.9 vs 4.11 or something so that would mean ur actually doing more kms than it says. not by all that much though... only about 5% say..

all these economy figures are f@$ked. i was driving a 4 speed panelvan with a 4k getting just under 7L/100km. its a 1.3, over 10 is just ridiculous in such a light car. i get 12/100 on a bad week from a 4.2 diesel pulling 2.5 tonne... my old 4k in the ke70 sedan used to deliver 8L/100km consistantly for about 30,000km, and i never drive any corolla gently :) flat out, those figures...you could get better from an off its tits 383...

i think you need to think about it luke, maybe your maturity level doesnt allow you to comprehend that there is more to girls than jealousy and bitchy-ness. not every girl wants to be a stuck up snob who doesnt know how to cook clean or wipe her own arse...
